Don't Have Children? Vance Says You're Scum

Kathryn

It was on fire when I laid down on it.
Actually @ revoltingest, I wasn't even addressing you but if the shoe fits and all that...

I'm not being hypocritical at all. I can't stand Trump and will not be voting for him for that matter. The only reason I sort of like Vance is because he's from right down the road from me and I bet he knows my town in fact. But I don't like him enough to vote for Trump.

Please show me where I've been hypocritical. Thanks.
You defend them by attacking those who criticize them,
& by using whataboutism. And claim you don't talk "smack".

It was on fire when I laid down on it.
For the purpose of defending Trump & Vance.
Like I said, facts are in pretty short supply around here. And how many times do I need to tell you that I am not even voting for Trump/Vance? At least I am putting my money where my mouth is, which is more than most people can say or do.

Love of Trump & Vance is abundant.
As is hatred of Harris, often fueled
by sexism, racism, & blind loyalty
to the Republican Party.

Just stating facts.
Well, I am a 21st century American woman, and I have four biracial kids, so I am not sexist, racist, or a victim of blind loyalty (as evidenced by the fact that I am not voting for Trump/Vance). To be completely honest (a rarity, I know), I don't even care for either political party! Or maybe it's just politicians in general...

I am not talking smack about anyone though.
Why would we censure @Revoltingest for talking smack about somebody who is talking smack about hundreds of decent Americans? People running for office make themselves public figures -- and what they say, however nasty (and Vance certainly can be nasty) needs to be examined and judged by the people who are expected to vote him into high office.

@Revoltingest is, therefore, providing an important public service. And by saying nothing, you are playing to Edmund Burke's warning that "[t]he only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing,” a Quote Falsely Attributed to Edmund Burke

An interesting point was made concerning this by Trey Gowdy of all people. If you don't know who that is google it, or don't. Just understand not a person I would have ever thought I would agree with.

But he tells a story about spending time with two ladies in an airport, recent immigrants to the United States. And two women who did not have children and did not intend to ever have children. These are the childless scum that Vance is referring to.

They were Catholic nuns.

His desperate spin; “I’m proud to be on the ticket with President Trump, a real defender of parents and families.”

My kids and granddaughter are purebreds.
But I don't show them.

Like I said, facts are in pretty short supply around here.

Facts aren't that short in supply. Denial from both sides just supersedes them.

A few examples...
Fact: Trump is full of crap and lies often.
Fact: The right deny that.
Fact: Biden was too old and his mentality was failing.
Fact: The left denied that.
Fact: Both sides complain about fake news.
Fact: Both sides spread it.

Oh, come on. It is not like there is some sort of deep fog clouding our ability to perceive the facts.

Quite on the contrary.

I found it interesting that Vance also advocated that children should be given votes...although until they are 18, the parent/s get to cast the votes on their behalf...

What could possibly be wrong with that?

I wonder if that applies to children from the moment of conception, or birth...
He might rethink that if the mother (and not the father) gets control of the child's vote, and not the fathers. ;)
No one should have control over another's vote. Men do not get control over the vote of their wife, in other words, and vice versa.

That's why you like him? The man literally has said Dems will label drinking Diet Mountain Dew as racist, wrote an emotional day made him feel female and suggested Trump, should he win in 2024, fire ever mid-level bureaucrat and civil servant and replace them with people loyal to Trump.
