Draft Dodger Wants Military Parade

Trump supporters don't seem willing to talk about the current reality, you always want to change the subject to Obama or Clinton or something else.
Yes, Trump has faults. The issue I have is when Trump is maligned and cast as unique for something that many other presidents have also done.

Australia, Belgium, Canada, France, etc are despotic regimes?
OK, but Russia, North Korea, China, etc are.

Also the French one started under Napoleon - who was a dictator - and has continued since as a tradition.
I don't know anything about the Canadian or Australian parades but I take your word for it.

I'm wondering what kind of military parades Canada is supposed to be having? I haven't seen one.

No, not at all.
If it is a veterans parade, remembering the dead it would be fine. But I suspect Trump has a d*ck waving parade in mind. I just hope it is very windy.

Again it comes down to we hate Trump and America. They can't have a parade it's douchey. LOL And remembering the dead is Memorial Day not Fourth of July.

How about we talk about the current reality, instead of Trump's supporters changing the subject to ex-politicians?
Like you're doing here with your " many other president's have done".
We are talking about Trump. The President. Obama is not president any longer. Hillary never has been. Why do Trump's supporters refuse to talk about him? Why do they keep changing the subject?

@Akivah has a point here. If we are critical of Trump for doing things that are relatively normal, our criticism appears to be nothing more than hypocritical partisan hysteria. This was done frequently by the Right when Obama was in office: “omg he’s signing executive orders!”, when in reality, that’s absolutely normal and he signed less than most of his predecessors.

The problem is that it hasn’t been established (afaik) that it is normal for Presidents to seek bombastic military parades... or most of the other things that Trump has been criticized for.

Actually the listing is from Wiki, not me.

But since you're unable to look them up, here's an Australian military parade.

And here's a Canadian one.

If you don't want to discuss history, then don't make statements that Trump wants to do something that has never been done before.

I've already said that I think a military parade is a good idea. I'd like to see our soldiers and tanks rolling down a street in a ceremonial manner.
