Dream within a dream.

Indeed George, we are being kept in the dark by materialist scientists. There are a few trustworthy scientists who are ignored by the materialist scientists, Rupert Sheldrake is worthy of checking out, also Peter Russell and Graham Hancock who offer a different view of things.
Don't worry, I immerse myself aplenty in non-materialist sources. A lot of materialists like to criticize young earth creationists as science deniers, And I can agree with that criticism. But I think the quality of the scientific work done by several top-notch parapsychologists is of such high quality that to just ignore and criticize them is also a type of science denial done by materialist 'scientists'.
My Monday dreams were boring, and I have vague memories of them. None are worth speaking about !
My dreams are almost always concoctions of the mind typically exploring negative things in some non-realistic scenario.:( On a brighter side I think I once had a dream that crossed the boarder into reality when just before waking I was embraced in great love from my then recently deceased father. A very similar dream happened to me with a close friend from Iran (he had been a student in America and we traveled across the country together) came to me in an embracing love and friendship dream just before waking. Unknown to me at the time of the dream, I later heard that he had been killed in the Iran/Iraq war.

Dreams also intrigue me in another way because I notice when I start to fall asleep I have access to memories I don't have access to in the waking state. Why is that I wonder?

It is such a wonderful experience when you meet your loved ones in Dream Land, I have met my father a few times in Dream Land. My father was not a parent who would embrace me(or my two brothers)but we knew he loved us. In the final ten years of his life we did become close and he would then hug me. When I have met him in Dream Land he is always smartly dressed as he was when in his physical vehicle. There was one dream in which I knew my father was an imposter - this was in a screen dream, which I have spoken of briefly in an earlier post. When 'they' knew I had sussed them out the dream ended !

The dream you had where your friend came to you could is a special, but sad dream.

Dreams also intrigue me in another way because I notice when I start to fall asleep I have access to memories I don't have access to in the waking state. Why is that I wonder?

That is an interesting point. I have had dreams where I go back in time to when I was 5 or 6, these are nice dreams. I cannot remember any dreams taking me back to my teen years, although when I was in my teens I experienced my first erotic dream !!!

Not sure why you have these dreams George, but it is another interesting side to the world of dreams.

Actually, those are not the type of memories I was referring to (memories of things from my waking reality). I was referring to what I'll imperfectly call dream themes. It's as if my dream thinking includes a continuation of dream themes that I don't know about in my waking state. I have to fall asleep to get back these thematic memories. Also when I'm drowsy I can catch myself falling a sleep for a second and thinking about some theme that when I snap out of it, I can't remember the theme.

This fascinating universe is so interesting.

Again I didn't remember any dreams ! However I have been reading a book and I have nodded off a few times, and I had a few napping(brief) dreams.

In one I was observing someone pouring wine from a wooden keg. I was with a crowd of people who I appeared to know.

In another brief dream I was told that something major will happen on November 25 which is a Friday. On what level this is I don't know, is it on a personal level or a local level, or on a national or worldwide level ? We will have to wait and see.

These napping dreams were not like the dreams we have when we sleep, they were all set against a dark orange background. The duration was around one minute. A lot can happen in sixty seconds !

Peace.

Unbelievable, I had one the other day. In my dream I dreamed that my car got stolen, then woke up in the dream and found it not stolen. In real life I took my car to the electrician and kept looking at it wondering what the heck happened!

The "dream within a dream" phenomena is fairly mundane, it has no real paranormal importance on its own.

Generally, they occur because of a long, realistic dream.

Strange you should write that Jonathon because its exactly what I'm trying to do and keep on failing ! I like your attitude towards the realm of dreams, sadly even when I remember a dream its so mundane it would make watching paint dry exciting !
I will add your idea of different categories of dreams into my current project, so thanks for that - if that is OK with you Jonathon.

In my teens I had a recurring aand very real feeling nightmare where I would be running through what felt like a gold course, I was running through the woodland area of the forest. Although I never saw the person chasing after me ! I knew there was someone after me and they had a knife ! I would wake up before I was caught, in fact I may well have forced myself awake which I have done in several menacing dreams. I did have some nice dreams, such as the flying through clouds dream - I loved that one. And I enjoyed the ocassional erotic dream, but that's not for speaking of here !

Aiviu, thank you for sharing your dream experiences. I have never had a dream where I've seemingly woke up but am still in the dream. My wife has and she says some are scary. She has vivid dreams involving vampires ! I think my dreams are either being tampered with, and even wiped from my memory. I have not had this problem before.

I shall post more later. I would like to share two dreams that I still remember as vivid as the night I dreamt them.

Blessings to you all.

Here are some categories of dreams, ( a working list, incomplete)

1) Wish fulfillment
2) Travelling to other worlds
3) Travelling to other dimensions
4) A message from a person
5) A message from the subconscious

Number 5 seems to get the most attention from psychologists,
many even consider it the only type of dream. Many also
think type 1 is the only type of dream.

I do believe that people have the ability to communicate using type 4,
and yes, often I consider that my dreams have been tampered with.
The strangest of this type occurred after my granddad died, and I slept
in his bed as the family gathered for his funeral. My spirit was in an intense
mood. I awoke with a dream echoing in my head. I had been through an
aggression test, which involved some American military/CIA type people.
They were cheering "It worked! It worked!" as they had clearly been trying
to affect my dreams with this test. The weirdest part, was that even after
my eyes were open, I could still hear them talking excitedly, for a couple
of minutes at least...

Thanks Jonathon, appreciate your input. I like your list too, I'll have to sort my list out, which is also an ongoing project. I am intrigued by my 'dreams' with UFOs !

Iron Wizard, thanks for your input, although I disagree with you !

Smart Guy - thanks !

I used to have lucid dreams long time ago, but not any more. Darn it :)

I also used to have horror dreams occasionally, but not anymore. Kinda like at least once or twice a week. Loved them!

At some period of time, sad dreams also occurred. Some of them were so sad and emotional that I cried, woke up crying and had difficulty controlling the sadness and cry. I cried so hard like a baby.

I am frustrated by my inability to recall my dreams. I am getting fleeting dreams when I fall asleep reading, but they are kind of two dimensional.

I have watched a few You Tube videos about Lucid Dreaming, I'd like to try it sometime.

I am slowly begining to remember my dreams, none are particularly outstanding, sadly. However in one dream I was given a message about the date of November 25 this year. Whether it is when WW111 begins(officially), or is it about a false flag in the UK I cannot say because I was only told about the date mentioned.

Does anyone ever think about being 'asleep' when awake ? Some examples include driving your vehicle without thinking about it - especially if you've been driving for a few years ! Another term would be doing things on automatic pilot !
Other examples are tying your shoe laces, brushing your teeth etc.

Any atmosphere or sense you can barely catch or why you said: "I am", dreaming?

At last ! I remembered one of my dreams !

A strange one indeed. I was in a strange setting, it had a hospital feel to it, but it didn't look like one ! I saw a lady who appeared to be in a coma and she was strapped securely to a bed, and the lady was being taken to bingo(my mother was a bingo freak ! and her life was not the one she wanted, so maybe it was her). I was with someone although I don't know who. There are missing segments, the last thing I remembered was escaping from the place, again with someone else. We bent down and crept out underneath some wiring(from musical equipment). Finish.

Any interpretations welcome.

Sadly today is a blank ! I did dream, but once again I am unable to recall any.

However I think I may have an answer as to the lady in a coma who was strapped down and was being taken to bingo ! That woman is my mother. She was a bingo freak !

Did you SEE or HEAR the date? Can you remember what the setting was around you in the dream? Can you tell me where you live. Country, City, State. etc.? Esp. if you live in a major US city.

That kind of dream is difficult. One thing for sure, it's meant for you to prepare for or prevent something. It takes much prayer and contemplation to even get close to understanding it. Wires may represent your connection to your mother. Maybe the dream is telling you in some way NOT to go in the direction of your mother. But that's only a guess.

I live in the UK. . The date has stuck with me, but I don't know what will occur, sorry. All I remember is the date and warning. It did not feel as though it was personal. We'll have to wait and see.Could it be the (official) start of WW3 ?

Thanks for your input, much appreciated. My mother was a troubled soul, she passed over in 2006, and it doesn't feel like she has been gone 10 years ! The lady strapped in could represent how my mother felt, because she suffered terribly; this I blame on her strict Catholic upbringing, thankfully I was not brought up in the Catholic (cult) religion !

She met my dad during WW2, near the end, she married my dad and left Belgium to start a 'new' life in Liverpool, England.

Well I don't agree with any one church but I call myself a Catholic and I like the 'cult' I'm into. It's better than yours!

You didn't answer my question. Did you HEAR or SEE the date in the dream?
