Election Tamperings?

That doesn't mean that the kettle isn't black. Which is what you all are so desperately trying not to acknowledge by turning the accusation back on the pot.
So, your solution is to back the party that let all this happen? You want to reward their incompetence?

Nonetheless, both are.
Each side thinks they're the saint & the other the sinner.
The reality is that they share the same human failings.
I wonder if it's narcissism to believe that one is just
better than others?

WE ALL LET THIS HAPPEN.

No, my solution, if there even is IS a solution, anymore (it's doubtful), is for us ALL to vote against ALL incumbents regardless of party affiliation until and unless a candidate shows us that they are willing to actively fight against the wholesale bribery and corruption of our legislature and judiciary. Because until we put a stop to this, no reforms of any kind are ever going to be possible.

Nonetheless, both are.
But it's the republicans doing the damage TODAY! And excusing and ignoring this by endlessly repeating "But THEY did it too!" isn't going to change anything. So why keep doing this over and over and over and over, every time someone points out that it's the republicans doing it NOW?

I don't excuse bad behavior by either side.
I notice both. You should too.

If we don't do something right away, our elections are soon going to be meaningless, because there will be no way of assuring their results. They are nearly meaningless, already, as the incumbents of both parties have been rigging the system in favor of two party incumbents since day one. We need to break their stranglehold on the electoral process, if that is still even possible, and the only way I can see to do that is to vote them out of power EVERY TIME until we can get some politicians in there that will clean up the process and make it more fair and representational, again. If having Donald Trump in the White House doesn't prove this to us, in spades, then we are doomed as a nation.

There's a whole lot to unpack in this conversation.

1.)I think all of these conversations hinge on a disagreement on the underlying principle of how, and what, makes someone a citizen.
2.) Almost all illegal immigrants pay taxes. The vast majority pay State and local taxes by necessity of how taxation works at those levels. And most pay income taxes via paychecks. (The level of illegal immigrants who are paid in cash for odd jobs is substantially less than those using false identification to gain regular employment.)
3.) Illegal immigrant populations still provide insanely profitable economic contributions to their local communities.
4.) There are identification requirements for voting, pretty much everywhere. ID voting isn't the problem.
5.) On-site vote tampering would require a systematic conspiracy so vast that it's basically absurd to suggest. (Systems are closed and not connected to the web specifically to prevent this).
6.) Individuals, and thus societies, can't be swayed by outside forces if they're actually discerning in their acceptance of information, and consistent and broad in their research habits.

And here is where pie-in-the-sky runs smack up against pragmatism. So, in effect, you have no solution, rather, your solution is to elect a bunch of folks who know nothing about governing. Yep, that ought to work out just spiffy. Good to know. Please tell me you are not impressed with airheads like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez! One only needs to listen to her for 20 minutes to realize she doesn't know much about a lot of things.

How dare you attempt to bring reason into the discussion. Have you no shame? :D

What is impossible and what is pragmatic? Stop spewing nonsense and explain your objections, please.
So, in effect, you have no solution, rather, your solution is ...
Are you really not able to see the incoherent thinking process that generates a comment like this?
... to elect a bunch of folks who know nothing about governing.
Where did this bizarre assumption come from? And even if it were true, better a novice than a seasoned criminal, don't you think?

This is a bizarrely irrational response.

Um, ok, @PureX

Have a nice day.
