Errors in the Quran

No need to use any translators because the words of concern is mentioned in the quran but you have difficulty in understanding because arabic language is very hard for you to understand and hence i asked you just to compare the image of the word star which mentioned in the quran and for the other word for the astroid which looks completely different, here i'll explain again

Note : the asteroids aren't used for guiding travelers and hence you can see the actual word for star used for the guidance.

(16:16) And landmarks. And by the stars they are [also] guided.

So the word star in the quran the same as you can see in google which means star, but the arabic word which meant for the asteroids is not the same word used for star in the quran and google translator as well.

Of course it's too difficult for me to understand if it's also too difficult for the majority of experts.
Even people like Bukhari for whom classical arabic would have been his own language got it wrong what chance do I have?

The word in question in the google translator shows this word can also mean stars as well as planets and the experts agree that in this context, stars is more suitable than planets.

You keep ignoring my question:

How do five small dots in the whole of the sky beautify and adorn it, how does this make any sense?

I know exactly what i am saying to you, don't always repeat that they were experts, you make me feel as if we are discussing the atomic bomb.

What do you mean by five small dots, please quote the verse which says five small dots in the sky.

Ha ha!

You keep avoiding the question because you how it implicate your arguments!

Fact number 1 - the word in verse 37.06 has two likely meanings, stars and planets according to google translator.

Fact number 2 - the majority of translators including those who spoke classical arabic translate it as stars.

Fact number 3 - stars adorn and beautify the sky, not five visible planets that cannot always be seen.

Lo! We have adorned the lowest heaven with an ornament, the planets;

Asteroids is mentioned in the quran as

We have decorated the nearest sky with lamps. We have placed them as missiles directed towards the devils and prepared torment from the Blaze for them.

Why do most if not all of ancient scholars translate the word as stars, how can they all be utterly ignorant despite the fact they knew the language best?

There is no point arguing with ppl who have decided In advance what is right...they will twist or change the meaning according to what they want yu to believe...perfect example is below video..do watch it and it resembles a lot of ppl on these forums specially Muslims:

Yes you're right and this is a great example, fear prevents people from thinking rationally if it gets in the way of their beliefs.
However, at the same time it amuses me.
Since this thread has begun his only argument has been you don't know arabic, despite the fact I'm using the knowledge of those who knew it best.
Yet he pretends these are my own personal translations! :D

U just wait.. If science discover multi verse.. I am sure some Muslims will come out with a verse in Quran that describes it..and if we discover alien life.. I wouldn't surprise me that it's already there in the Quran .. But people don't know the translation yet..

Quran was written by people who had limited understanding of the world at that point of time.. Below r the basis I use:

The miracle should not have known at the time of revelation
The verse meaning should not change with time
The verse could only be known through revelation

For me people like Newton and Einstein r more of miracle messengers than Mohamad when it comes to explaining how the universe actually works..

I showed you with evidence how the word star looks like in the quran which isn't the same word for the asteroids, but your purpose is just to distort Islam and hence you can't do any fair discussion.

What you want to discuss if you only believe blindly what the scholars had said.

“Do not the Unbelievers see That the heavens and the earth
Were joined together (as one Unit of Creation), before We clove them
asunder?” [Al-Qur’aan 21:30]

The striking congruence between the Qur’aanic verse and the ‘Big Bang’ is
inescapable! How could a book, which first appeared in the deserts of Arabia
1400 years ago, contain this profound scientific truth?

First it's astonishing that u think that this describes Big Bang, but before I respond to the error in the above, I will wait for a sane Muslim to correct u on the above..

people started work on fingerprints in 19th century, world population has clocked 7 billion still no one with same fingerprint.

“Does man think that We Cannot assemble his bones? Nay, We are able
to put Together in perfect order The very tips of his fingers.” [Al-Qur’aan
75:3-4]
Unbelievers argue regarding resurrection taking place after bones of dead
people have disintegrated in the earth and how each individual would be
identified on the Day of Judgement. Almighty Allah answers that He can not
only assemble our bones but can also reconstruct perfectly our very
fingertips.

Trustisnotyourenemy will ask you then, how God asked us to see it,while we can't see,as he tried before some days to see if there is more than one heaven over his head but he saw only one heaven.

I wonder how he himself can't see the 7 heavens and still doesn't believe how miraculous the quran is.

very nice, why you are wasting time in such type of statements? you can simply write your point of view.

I don't think they have any point of view, they have to see several interpretations and cherry pick the one that say otherwise.

It's ironic that fear god think that I am cherry picking...

Before u give me any other translation, I am giving more examples:

Sahih International
Have those who disbelieved not considered that the heavens and the earth were a joined entity, and We separated them and made from water every living thing? Then will they not believe?
Muhsin Khan
Have not those who disbelieve known that the heavens and the earth were joined together as one united piece, then We parted them? And We have made from water every living thing. Will they not then believe?
Pickthall
Have not those who disbelieve known that the heavens and the earth were of one piece, then We parted them, and we made every living thing of water? Will they not then believe?
Yusuf Ali
Do not the Unbelievers see that the heavens and the earth were joined together (as one unit of creation), before we clove them asunder? We made from water every living thing. Will they not then believe?
Shakir
Do not those who disbelieve see that the heavens and the earth were closed up, but We have opened them; and We have made of water everything living, will they not then believe?
Dr. Ghali
And have not the ones who disbelieved seen that the heavens and the earth were an integrated (mass), then We unseamed them, and of water We have made every living thing? Would they then not believe?

So all these translation points to the fact that earth was already there joined with heaven before Big Bang..not let's gets the math right here:

Big Bang happened around 13.8 billion years ago ( approx) and
Earth is only 4.5 billion year old( again approx)..

So I am not really sure which earth is Mohamad refer ring to actually in this verse...
And last time I checked , earth was very much part of the cosmos and not separate..

The last thing u shud know is that the verse is another example of cosmic egg theory but from a different angle...nothing special about this verse, unless u want to simply ignore the facts in front of u
