but everyone literally voted for him because he was black.

I voted for him because he wasn't pushing the christian fundamentalist agenda (ant-gay, anti-women, anti-science, etc.) like the republicans were. Something you would understand as a satanist, right?

Give the man a go for Christ sake, if it was the other way around, I'm sure you would want everyone to give her a go.

Actually, I find it irrelevant criteria because no matter what the President themselves would believe the Bill of RIghts addressed it. As far as the rest, that is mythological stuff... Are there are few people on the right that believe that way? Undoubtedly, but it is a minority... This statement is contrived hyperbole, and nothing more. The right isn't anti-science either, just anti-pseudo science like climate change, gender studies, and reforming what they believe to be psychosis into identities. (The normalization of bat-**** crazy, basically.) I don't really know whether you need laws to protect LGBT either, but I think that is an issue for another post. (I think non-discrimination laws basically cover it already...)

P.S.- I will never agree with the mainstream on religion, so there is no point it raising it. I realize I am on the fringe and do not expect others to accept it OR cater to it.

People are trying. But it's all an illusion. The promises were broken. I hope he takes down the people in DC making money off this stuff.

His first act as President to take away mortgage benefits for poor and first time home buyers, obviously he's more concerned with helping the banks than the people.

Well, I'm after YOUR wallet in a literal sense as well, so join the club or pretend not to be playing the game -- doesn't matter to me.

Yours is a tangent, but FWIW, I create happy clients, and when that happens they're happy to give me money.

You do realize that Trump plans to take away disability for people like you????? But of course you don't live in America, so you don't care.

Afghanistan came to an end, and there were no more "boots on the ground" in Iraq until ISIS showed up. He didn't exactly end it, but our troops weren't fighting their either.

You're simply blind if you haven't seen any economic growth. Wall Street gained substantially during his presidency, jobs were added (albeit low paying jobs), and the recession came to an end. The real complaint lies in the fact the jobs created have largely been low-wage jobs, and though there has indeed been economic growth under Obama, it has mostly went straight to the top, with little of it being seen by anyone else.
I wouldn't use stock prices to measure growth.
They're typically a measure of....
- What a few people most recently were willing to pay.
- The capitalized value of dividends divided by the rate of return of other investments.
So when interest rates are low in a slow economy, stock prices will rise.
- The expectation that the stock price will rise.
This is about speculation rather than actual performance.

Economic growth, however, doesn't really care what wages and salaries people make or the benefits they have.
I respectfully disagree, the economic situation affects everything on a material plane. If the economy is bad wages are bad, so are jobs, and as a result employers cannot distribute better benefits. I think of economics as the whole of the country's wealth production.

Haven't seen Democrats this upset since Lincoln freed the slaves
You weren't even there. But you think it sounds so cool to say that you just can't resist. Personally, it sounds like a line from a bad B movie. I'm certain that Lincoln and Reagan are both spinning in their respective graves since the deplorables elected Komrade Trumpsky. You've always wondered what it was like to live in a puppet state and now you'll get to see it first hand. So much Kompromat!

Sure, we're upset. YOU have given us a bully bigot for a president and you're happy about it. Of course, you'll deflect and say it was everyone else's fault when the caca hits the fan, but I hold YOU personally responsible. After all, no raindrop wants to take the blame for the flood. All are still equally guilty.

Well, I'm after YOUR wallet
Do you also cheat like Komrade Trumpsky? After all, you're comparing yourself to the world's slickest conman and cheat, so it's a fair question. Do you cheat your employees, sub contractors and customers the way Komrade Trumpsky cheats his?

Are there are few people on the right that believe that way? Undoubtedly, but it is a minority.
Mike Pence is very much that way. They are, in reality, a very major voting block. They may not be a population majority, but politically they are loud and powerful.
The right isn't anti-science either, just anti-pseudo science like climate change, gender studies, and reforming what they believe to be psychosis into identities.
They deny evolution, Mike Pence has heavily downplayed the risk of smoking even going as far to say it won't kill you. As for climate change and gender studies, those aren't pseudo sciences. And trying to "reform" psychosis into an identity doesn't even make sense - if someone suffers from a form of psychosis, they are psychotic. There isn't really much you can do to bypass that fact.
If the economy is bad wages are bad, so are jobs, and as a result employers cannot distribute better benefits.
The thing is, large corporations employ most people, and while their executive's profits have skyrocketed, little has went to anyone else. There is also the relative position of economic growth, as it was going down when Obama came into office, and it has indeed grown under him, albeit with the greatest gains going to Wall Street. It also helps to have assistance such as food stamps and HUD to help pad the growth. The specifics are debatable, but by the books and numbers there has been growth under his presidency.

I think of economics as the whole of the country's wealth production.
It is. It also includes spending. Imports and exports. Share values and interest rates. It's many things, but people having money is more important than where they got it, and as long as money is circulating things are good. There can only be care when we bother to point out people on welfare who can't afford basics, jobs that don't pay their worth/value, sub-livable wages, wealth distribution, and ask where these gains have gone. But, that is people, not economics.
