I believe there is plenty of history in the Bible. I & II Kings, I & II Chronicles to name a few more obvious ones.
I believe the fact that there were humanoids on earth 130,000 years ago does not alter either creation story or make them myths.
Oh no. @Hockeycowboy never dodges or evades....he just gets tired of repeating himself.Classic Three Stooges act; Duck, Bob and Weave.
Much of it is no more credible than the Harry Potter books, which are a much better read, imo.
If only Marcion had won out, then we wouldn't be having these silly discussions. Some Christians have very creative creation stories. I think that it begins as an attempt to cover for the fact that a 6,000 year old Earth is ridiculous. Sadly their innovations are no more believable.
What human beings were "there" to give witness to the words of "Moses?"So unless you have some evidence to bring forth showing a human being was there to give witness how exactly the birth of the earth and Universe actually started.
You are not the first theist on this forum to claim knowledge of scripture that others do not have. What we find is that the person making those claims also needs to stretch and bend the words of scripture to accommodate their "insight".That's only because people have no understanding or knowledge of what the bible actually does say and confirms.
No as I never posted any narrative. I was correcting you, which you accepted, then pointing out how you altered the the data to fit your narrative. Try again.

The Bible doesn't really say that the whole earth was flooded and that every living thing was killed. The Nephilim managed to survive and it was only 339 years between the time they got off the Ark and the destruction of the Tower of Babel.
I think the Tower of Babel story is more about the collapse of a civilization and the collapse of literacy. There have always been lots of towers in the Middle East. Some are still standing.
There is no evidence of any man on Earth at that time. The logical approach is not to believe that such a man existed until reliable evidence is found for such a belief.Nope not at all, the only thing that I agreed on is what you posted back in
Post #1006 ( More like 64 million years ago)
So this I agree on, that dinosaurs being on earth back like 64 million years ago.
So this is the only thing that i did agreed on.
Now which man was here on earth at the time of the dinosaurs, Was it the Celestial man or was it the Terrestrial man ?
What your referring to, Is the flood of Noah's.
The flood of Noah's was the second flood that came upon the earth. Unto which didn't cover the whole earth.
Now the first flood covered the whole earth. Which was Million years before the flood of Noah's.

By the way, poor reinterpretations of a book of myths is not evidence.

Then you can readily show where it says that a million people heard Moses say:Like about a million people were there to witness the words of Moses.
None. What's your point? Are you denying that dinosaurs once lived on this earth? But now the question is, What man was there at the time of the dinosaurs 64 million years ago.
I only know of:Was it the Celestial man or the Terrestrial man ?
Are you saying the Bible misquoted God? My emphases...The flood of Noah's was the second flood that came upon the earth. Unto which didn't cover the whole earth.
From BibleHub
King James Bible
And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven; andevery thing that is in the earth shall die.
This is ostensibly a direct quote from God. The only way "all flesh ... under heaven" could be destroyed is if the entire earth is covered.
