I am not joking at all. It indirectly helps cancer research. Because they are back engineering certain gene's by turning them on or off in chickens.

Which also applies to humans and Molecular genetics in science helping to understand how to treat and stop cancers by finding genes that can be turn on or off and understand different cancers themselves.

But not just cancer all diseases.

One thing we have learned from Dinosaur research, like birds evolved from them for one, is that you can rule the earth for 180 million years and then go extint by a meteor impact.

So you're saying that he made dinosaurs and then made us look for them, but then how can the world only be 6 - 10k years old if the fossils that he made are a lot older than that?

Interesting. Mormons believe that ours was not the first creation too:

33 And worlds without number have I created....

I think new worlds get built on the ruins of older worlds... we are told that another new world will one day be built on the ruins of where we now live:

a new heaven and a new earth (New Testament | Revelation 21:1)

just as there will be a wipe/reset in the future, I think there was a wipe/reset in the past... that Adam and Eve were sent here to a world that had become spiritually void, to bring in a new era/start a new world.

you're doing the same thing every other believer does with their own religion. you are seeing the answer you want to see in the txt of the scripture for your religion. The verse you quoted does not provide any information that suggests any kind of evidence or proof of evolution, or of creation.

the verse who have mentioned doesn't point for sure for what you had explained. Moreover, the fossil evidence isn't decisive a you say.

The verse is telling us to search for the previous creation (how originated) and that by traveling through the earth.

is it that hard to solve this puzzle and to understand from the verse that it talks about fossils.
