No, pterodactyls (more accurately pterosaurs) weren't dinosaurs, but a quite different lineage. And no again, birds did not evolve from them.

There was also a whole other huge group of animals before the dinosaurs went extint.

The dino's lived for 180 million years, but before that was the Pelycosaurs, Archosaurs, and Therapsids who later evolved into the dinosaurs and some mammals after a major extintion in the permian period that killed off 95% of ALL LIFE ON EARTH and it evolved back.

but any building can do the purpose to teach people the good things to do in their
life,exactly as we do need schools,we need who will guide us to the righteous path in

He is saying that ttruth thinks they shouldn't conduct research because it wastes time and money, but religious buildings are an even bigger waste of time and money.

Not all religious buildings.
But there are certainly enough of them that waste loads of money being built and maintained that it seems to me that ttruth's comment about research dollars being wasted on dinosaurs is most hypocritical.

That's a pretty childish point to make. You do realize that the money that goes into researching archaeology, etc. does not detract from the money being spent on cancer research, right? Mestemia's argument is just as valid as your own: why waste money on anything, including building extravagent places of worship that no everybody wants or needs, instead of spending that money on cancer research? How much did your house cost? Your clothes? The computer you're currently using? Would not have all of that money gone to a better cause if you'd donated it to cancer research too?

At a cursory glances, this point seems quite absurd to make. That was his point.

We were talking about a recent event,which was the researches for bringing back
dinosaurs to life.

Whereas money spent for what you said archaelogy or whatsoever is not a recent event and was done hundreds of years ago.

What does that have to do with what I said? The point you made was that it was pointless to put money and time researching something like dinosaurs when you could spend it on cancer research. My point is that that's a ludicrous point to make, since the time and money that goes into one does not destract from the time and money going in to another.
