Okay...
1st, the Flood:
Understanding Genesis 6:1-4 is the crux. Angels coming to Earth, looking like men (Jude 1:6), and taking women, “all whom they chose”, married or not. How do you think human males would respond? Google “Nephilim”. Jehovah couldn’t just stand by, and let these angels produce hybridized human / angel creatures! As giants, they would have eventually conquered mankind!
(Where do you think the Ancient Greeks, Romans, etc., got their ideas of gods having sex w/ women and producing offspring, in their mythologies? It’s a common thread, coming from a real event!)
2nd, Egypt:
After seeing Moses’ miracles, Pharaoh should have known who was more powerful!
But he refused to let Israel leave, even after the Ten Plagues that followed. Each time he could have let Jehovah’s people go, but he didn’t. So, really, Pharaoh brought the destruction to Egypt, by his action...or lack of.
Many Egyptians, according to the account, left with the Israelites,...because they realized Jehovah was more powerful than their gods. Apparently, Jehovah didn’t stop them from joining the Israelites. Jehovah always let others come to worship with the Israelites. The Gibeonites were a fine example.
