I think it started with a muddy hand print on the wall.
Taking notice it turned into a game.....
Then it turned into story telling.

Yes very short. But ultimately useless as an explanation due to its brevity.

What did the muddy hand print mean, why was it put there?

Without this knowledge, it is just a hand print.

The other people also need to know it means that. It could also mean "this belongs to me". It could also be wear the person rested their hand and have no meaning at all.

For a symbol to be used as communication it needs to have an agreed upon meaning.

It also needs to be readily differentiable from other peoples hands.

Yes i know that atheists believe that they are apes and animals but creationists including me don't agree with them.
