Evolution of what?

YoursTrue

Faith-confidence in what we hope for (Hebrews 11)
Yet here you are demanding details about evolution.
Your hypocrisy is not the least bit surprising.
Naturally you don't have to give your definition of magic poofing, or explain what you really mean by "Goddidit." Right?

Your answer is "GodDidIt".
Which is nothing more than magic poofing with no details at all.

Yet you are constantly asking for details about evolution.
That is what I read from those who want to castigate those who do not believe in the theory of evolution as currently taught. My answer is not magic poofing. Or that God did it. I do believe, however, that "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth."

Yet you do not offer up any details, even when flat out asked.

this is hypocrisy.
What details would you like? How God created the heavens and the earth? The only details I know about are those outlined in the book of Genesis.

Why is it that an all powerful all knowing deity does not have to provide any where near the same level of details you demand from mere mortal humans?

Your answer is not magic poofing or god did it but you believe god did it with magic poofing?

The Bible is a rather long book. It is not written about how God made things, except a brief description. Because the Bible is not a book about evolution.
Libraries are filled with books. The ideas about evolution have changed over the years, tomes have been written on the subject.

See there, didn't even need to go back five posts....
That's how you interpret my answer evidently. I do not use the expression "Goddidit" because what I know about how life and the earth and heavens is said in the book of Genesis, which starts out by saying, "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." Do I believe that in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth? Yes.

What details do you think I should offer? How God created the heavens and the earth with physical details, explaining the gravitational and other physical forces? Sorry, but I can't do that. There is an adequate explanation for me in the Bible and the structure of creation in the book of Genesis. I see no reason for me to disregard that. Or contest it. I know you have questions, and of course, so do I. I prayed over certain matters. I did learn a while ago that only God can help a person to understand certain issues. And that, my friend, is where I believe the conversation will have to stop. Yes, I hope you have a good evening.

I don't find inconsistencies or errors in the creation account. And I trust the Bible more than I do what others may say. So while researchers may find fossils and categorize them as they see fit, this does not mean to me that fish eventually evolved through genetic passages to become humans. Sorry if I'm not using the right terms but I do not think that God is obliged to have the details recorded. Or that I need to know. What I want to look forward to now is outlined and foretold in the Bible.

Why would it be magic poofing? And again -- some here that believe in the theory of evolution do declare that humans are apes. So? Nothing to it. (or no problem, right?) According to you, humans are apes, right? But the better question is why would creation be thought of by you as possibly magic poofing?
Not sure what you mean by magic poofing. No need to explain in detail because I will likely only get attacked in a nice way maybe?
Magic poofing is creation ex nihilo; ie: creatures popping (poofing?) into existence out of thin air, rather than gradually acquiring their forms from accumulated adaptations.

You seem to think we just popped into existence as special creations, rather than evolving over ~8 million years, from an ancestor common to all the great apes.
