Freedom March, a worship service featuring former LBGT individuals sharing their stories to occur in Washington, D.C. on May 5, 2018.

Former transgender, bisexual, lesbian and gay men and women, including an Orlando Pulse nightclub shooting survivor, will be gathering in the nation's capital for a worship event next weekend to proclaim how Jesus Christ liberated them.

What were they liberated from exactly?

Everyone needs the freedom to voice their concerns. Especially folks you may not agree with.

Such a shameful attempt at misrepresenting reality.

What specific sin are they liberated from to which is specific only to LGB and no one else?

I think it's all sin. So there shouldn't be any specifics. The smallest of sin is no different than the greatest of sin. Any sin would keep you out of heaven if it Jesus hadn't paid the price for humanity. So gender preference should no longer be an issue among the saved. It's all forgiven.

Even the thief on the cross was able to enter heaven by acknowledging Jesus.

If its all sin, why would LGB be singled out if the nature of a sin isnt bound by a specific group of people?

Since there is no gender preference, what about anyone's gender and sexual orientation need be forgiven?

These sorts of "conversions" do not tend to last:

Hopefully they will come to realize that none of this is necessary. Jesus offers salvation to all who ask, no strings attached.

The Spirit and the Bride say, “Come.” And let the one who hears say, “Come.” And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who desires take the water of life without price.

For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who looks on the Son and believes in him should have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.”

I don't see where in the Bible is says sin is bound to a specific group of people.

I'd imagine anytime you treat another person indecently because of lust, greed, anger it is a sin. Specifics are not important, just the evil in one's own heart. That is between the individual and God. No one could possibly know the depth of that evil except the individual and God. I don't see where sexual preference falls under this any more than any other action one might from the wrong motivations.

They’re not ex-anything. They’ve suppressed and repressed who they are and regressed because society says there’s something wrong with them. Newsflash: there isn’t.

I’ll pray to my (sometimes) transgendered God and his (her? o_O) male lover (Vishnu/Mohini and Shiva) to let them know they’re ok being who they really are.

Why would they be angry. Shouldn't these folks experience the same freedom to choose their sexual preference like the rest of us?

The obvious reason is because these protestors are implying that freedom only comes when one drops the 'yoke' of the LGBT lifestyle. Which is obnoxious and absurd.

But yes, these people have the freedom to repress their natural urges just as a priest or monk can. But it is the freedom to live in self imposed exile, which is no freedom at all...

I admit I don't really see what their point is, but if they get something out of it, good for them, I guess?
