Explaining Satanism to Christians.

Left Hand Path
thread hop:

You don't explain it to the *******, they won't listen and will keep spreading their lies. They are liars and hypocrites. They talk about not spreading false witness against their neighbor but make up **** like the SRA scare.

Or at least a good bit' of them are like that. Generally for it me it goes into them trying to argue that I'm a "devil worshiper" and that it doesn't make sense that people can be Satanists but not believe that Satan really exists. I personally think that Satan does exist, but not in the way that they do. This further confuses them because they cannot comprehend how Satan could be anything but what it is shown as in their stupid bible that is comparable to fox news.

Some will listen and be objective, but most of those kinds of Christians are pretty liberal anyway. idk im REALLY generalizing is all right now. im tired.

Ave!

I often have often shared the same experience, but eventually I learned how to avoid such things and set aside my disposition towards such spiritual beliefs and look towards the person they are and not what they are "trying" to be.

If the topic does come up and is directed at me I will just say that I am a pantheist and believe in God. Though I do not usually need to describe any further, because generally when people speak of "God" they mean their God.

Well, I am pantheistic Satanist with some polytheism, so... that might work. I typically just say "I'm a pantheist" when someone asks and I do not want them to know that I'm a Satanist.

I usually tell people, say those at work, if asked, that I am into metaphysical and ancient Egyptian philosophy, without actually using the term Setian (I will never use the term Satanist in public to define myself ever again) - to my Satanist friends, it's just a personal choice - I am much more Setian than I am a Satanist.

I wanna know what happened now. I can't keep my mouth shut if asked. I'm too honest for my own good and I want to know what to expect. It's really hard for me to keep quite about stuff.

As you get older I think you'll become more adept at keeping certain things in your life secret from profane society. Sometimes our lifes magical works kept secret, except perhaps with those of our own kind, can evolve into some intence manifestations.

I have an acquaintance whose going on about how Satanists scare him, and askign why anybody would choose to worship Satan.

Whats the best way to educate him on the subject?

Or troll him. Either one.
Opposite of christianity. Adhere to the flesh because there is no spirit and no god. If they don't run for the hills then there is hope for them yet. :)

We are not the opposite of Christianity just because we embrace carnality.
