First time hearing about the Virgin Mary

We do not know.

We know nothing about his actual life, he could have been married as much as not.
Hi Outhouse,

You may know anything about Jesus Christ in the Holy Scriptures of the Bible (New Testament), the whole narratives in the gospel of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Jesus is God-sent, the Son of God. He was incarnated as "Emmanuel" which means God with us. He is sinless and not married. For God's purpose to come here is not in the flesh as to marrying someone but by bringing us a good news of salvation. Logically, God's purpose is spiritual rather than physical.

Thanks

Atheistically
Jesus is God-sent

Stop it. That is not historical, it is factually not credible.

That is faith and faith alone.

With no historical education, you do not get to make historical claims that would be considered credible.

You do not have any credible sources, you only have faith. Juts admit its faith alone.

LOL.

"Hey look at that monkey...POOF...wait now it's a man!"

- theist understanding of evolution

I believe one does not need a poof but there is doubt that a lifetime is enough. So what we have are people looking at bones and making educated guesses about things they did not witness.

Refusal of knowledge is fanaticism

WE factually do not, you might, but you don't get to speak fro humanity using mythology as a basis for anything besides religion

I believe it is not refusal of knowledge but simply having better knowledge.

I believe I was speaking of Christians when I said "we." Obviously there are other people who prefer to refuse knowledge from God.

I believe we don't need a historian because we have God who has created everything and bears witness of it.
God didn't write the bible. If God also attended the Council of El, it also brings up questions as to whether it was really Yahweh who created everything, as El was in charge at that time. Don't blame because poor biblical editing left us with tidbits of older theologies they tried to downplay later.

Incorrect. The science of genetics proves evolution occurred. (Or God REALLY REALLY went out of his way to manipulate the data and us to reason evolution is fact).

I believe you need to get the El out of your theology. As the Canaanite god , he was never the creator God.

I believe you are incorrect. genetics does not prove anything except who the parents and forbears were perhaps. Evolutionists make the same kind of assumptions without proof about genetics as it does about other things.

I could agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong. Genetics on its own isn't proof of evolution, but geneticists who understand the representation of genes in various animals would never assert anything other than evolution. Genetics coupled with the study of fossils and geology show evolution as the only viable mechanism.

I believe evolutionists assume there needs to be a mechanism.

Prometheus: I believe you have not read enough if you think that is the case. Perhaps that is the way it should work but I have even seen a writing where they admit they liven things up with a story.
