But you must know that in the bible, the scriptures explain that God doesnt want anybody forced, if he wanted for something he wanted, he would make you instantly devoted. and another thought that I would mention to your mom is that you are sanctified because of her, maybe that will ease her personal pain and need, she apparantly feels toward you. maybe she will stop trying. you do have free will and she knows that. I see no mimic of Jesus, in your story, when he was taken he didnt try to impose belief, he just tought, take it or leave it. do you have kids Woton? was the subject of God tought about when they were children ? how?

Just FYI, my father was well known to me - very well known and I didn't need any ancient book or life changing experience to know that. If you did in order to know YOUR father you have my sympathy.

I knew my father well too. I had a better relationship with him in his later years than I did when he and I were younger. My mother is in her mid 80s and rather difficult, to put it mildly. Fortunately there are a few hundred miles and a stretch of sea between us, so our contact is on the phone, and conversation can be terminated as soon as I have had an earful!

O.K., so just to review, in your belief system, your God prefers to inflict unspeakable suffering and evil on millions of people throughout human history, because he's still gathering evidence so He can eventually kill the perpetrator, when He gets around to it. This is despite your co-existing belief that He is all-knowing, and knows exactly how much evil there is, who's causing it, and, being all-powerful, could stop him at any time. Is that right?
