I am NOT anti anyone who claims to be a Christians that is totally untrue, my own daughter is an Anglican Priest. I am anti Christian fundamentalism and the idea that only so 'saved' go to heaven, the rest to hell. I hope for oblivion rather than heaven. Fortunately fundamentalist Christians, who believe the whole of the Bible to be literally true, are still in the minority in the UK.

Why are you praying for me for exactly, to see it your way? I hope not. I know you probably mean well by saying that but I do find it a little patronising.

You are aware Christian Fundamentalism is Bible Fundamentalism arent you you? Which is why we have all manner of cults and disinformation specialists springing up to discredit the bible and prevert the meaning of it.

If this is all there is to it, it would be a horrible experience, not a very nice one at all.
Eph 2:7 that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.
Compare this to “this is all there is” and you have a short time, I find this depressing don’t you?

I was taught 6 days a week and twice on Sunday that hell was REAL and lasts forever. I was told I was going there to burn and feel being burned forever unless I accepted JC and live a christian life. I was told repeatedly not to question. That I needed the simple faith of a child. That thinking too much was the way of the devil.
Didn't believe it then don't believe it now.

BTW if hell is so -o-o-o real and so many folks are going there how come in billions of deaths this bizarre incident your link relates is the ONLY one?

Living a moral life and making those that loves happy, thanks. And having more time to do it in, as well as the ability to feel compassion, rather than blame, for Haitian earthquake victims.

I have great compassion for these people, my church have great compassion for them and do what they can to help. Do the Haitians babies or even their ancestors have choice? I thought that scientists worldwide know about this faults and have became so clever that they could advice them were to built their cities. Why some people still built on the Saint Andres fault, is it because impoverishment?
These people try hard to migrate to the US, why can't the migrate, who stop them? other people right?

Babies don’t choose where to be born or live their lives their parent do.
I am from of earlier generation, what I was taught at school was that after rhe big bang explosion the earth was very hot, but it would cool down so I waits, apparently it will take billions of years, at present it is that the planet is heating up, so who knows?
Would know this have benefits for my life?
