God’s Method of delivering messages, is it flawed?

Baha'u'llah did provide proof.

Below is what Baha’u’llah wrote about evidence. More specifically, Baha’u’llah enjoined us to look at His own Self (His character), His Revelation (His works, which can be seen in Baha'i history), and His words (His Writings).
The accused said he didn't do it, so we'll leave it at that and let him go.

Yes I can Susan, and I pray for you all. In Australia Materialism is also very deep and in a way, we seem to reflect the issues faced in America. Our race relationships are also not good and are like a powder keg ready to ignight. Racism is deep in the minds of many white Australians. As a child I lived amongst extreme racist views and I understand why many Aboriginal find it hard to come to terms with what they faced.

Hang on Susan and all the best for you, your other half and your cats.

It will be interesting to see how we connect with the animal spirit in the next world, somehow I see any compassion shown to animals in this world, will shed light in the world's to come.

Regards Tony
You live in the real world where people compete against one another, many use race as a tool to compete. Imagine your world without police and Army to keep the peace. Just go back 150-200 years to see what White people did to Aboriginal people.

Again how do you think a world of peace and harmony can exist without men with guns to protect the weak from the evil. Unless you're waiting for a change in Human nature.
You just hit the nail on the head... We are waiting for a change in human nature, a New Race of Men
But he does according to you he changes the rules to suit the times. I only believe in what I think is credible and has evidence. Like I believe junk yards have cars in them because I can see. This god fellow I can't.
God changes what He reveals in every age as the world changes and mankind's needs change, but God never change His Way of communicating. It has always been done through Messengers.
It's up to you to educate us, stop dodging.

It would be nice if you could answer my questions.
I do the best I can. See if you can find another Baha'i who will answer all that I have answered.
So this god fellow doesn't want to prove he exists, a nice copout. Did it ever occur to you that there is no god, you have no proof of a god.
No, it never occurred to me at all, because I know that God exists and I know that Baha'u'llah was His Messenger.
Now if you took time to quote Baha'u'llah predicting the rise and fall to 2nd or 3rd place, you would get me believing Baha'u'llah was a visionary.

As you have so far refused and given nothing. I'm thinking one of us has it wrong. I will ask you again, where did Baha'u'llah predict the rise and fall of America. Give me the plan to bring world peace.
Sorry, I do not have time to go looking for that but I'll bet you could find it with a Google search.

Yes as you confirm god changes his rules to suit us. I never said Messenger I said rules.

I've tried Google search and there's nothing about him quoting America. Where did you get this information of Baha'u'llah predicting it? You raised the issue, you must have got it from somewhere.

You will be waiting a long time, and by then you will have passed on to the spiritual world.

God changes His message to suit us, not His rules.

I don't know what you want to know.about America, what Baha'u'llah predicted would happen?
I can look for that as soon as I have time... Meanwhile, here is an article that has a lot of useful information:

I just discovered that the older version of Some Answered Questions in the Baha'i Reference Library does not have the Foreword or the Author's Preface as does the newer version of BRL you linked to.... So now I have something to add to my collection of Word documents. :)

I normally do not use the newer version of the BRL because it is very difficult to navigate and search for what I am looking for.

Yes that is good to remember.

Some Answered Questions needs the new translation to be quoted.

Why did Bahaollah had to be that verbose and still be unable to convince anyone except a few Bahais?
And what can one write if writing so much except word salad?
Look at Upanishads, one contains just 12 verses (Mandukya Upanishad), Ishavasya Upanishad (18 verses). Look at 'Brahma Sutras', in all 555 short curt lines (aphorisms, not even full sentences). BhagawadGita has 620 verses ascribed to Krishna. If one has something worth saying, then it can be said very briefly. But if one is trying to make falsehood into truth, one has to write much more.
If the superfluous words are taken out, I wonder how long his books would be? Like the NT, if we look at just the things that Jesus supposedly said, it's not very much. And if not for Paul's letters, the NT wouldn't be very big. If we take Paul out and we just have one gospel story, instead of four, then there's not much left. But I guess what makes Baha'u'llah so great is that he wrote a lot. For some people it's virtually unreadable, but still, there's a lot of it.

It did come, and then people either sent the package back to sender without even opening it, or they opened it and did not like what was in it and then sent it back.

Then the method of delivering messages is flawed.

Because the majority don't get any message and many who do reject it. Or there is no message just people thinking they are getting something.

When did this age of peace occur?
The writing on the package says, "Open this up and it will bring peace and harmony to the world." People open it, and then find the words... "Someday."

The same reason you believe in Baha. You have no verifiable evidence.

What would be proof that a god exists?

Comes down to Earth
Moves a mountain from A to B
Cures Covid
Cures cancer
Limits the overpopulation of Man on Earth this is the biggest problem we have now. The Earth simply can't survive with 7 billion and soon to become 9 billion because religious people think "Go forth and multiply" is a reason to keep adding to the population.

Sends messenger with lots to say about nothing much, is pointless because by your own admission it's not working.
God speaking from heaven. Writing the Ten Commandments on stone. Raising Jesus from the dead. Parting the seas. Stopping the Sun in the sky for a whole day. Those things would be pretty good proof that God exists... only problem, Baha'is themselves say none of those things really happened.

Thank you for the reply.
Science do have its place in human society and yes a lot of science is good.
But so is religious belief too ( in my view)

So to refuse any answer from one side is maybe wrong? That is something i have realized in the last month or so. Even my belief is religious i can still use science when needed.
Is it possible to reconcile your beliefs with the Baha'i beliefs?

People can change, I did.

Of course, you use science when you need it. But on the basic question of "is there a god or is he man-made" all the evidence points to man-made.
That doesn't mean everything in the bible is wrong, just some of it and religion is still used to today to kill others.

That's because the way god uses to send his message is flawed or no god exists.
Yes, some good rules, some not so good rules... like stoning people to death for breaking the Sabbath and offering cut up, burnt up animals to God. So did the people necessarily need God to tell them the good rules? Maybe, but some wise people could have come up with them. But the not so good rules? That don't sound like an all loving God came up with those. It sounds more like people. People wanting to control and force the masses to follow all the rules. If not, then they're gonna die. And it still didn't work. Flaw.

“The All-Knowing Physician hath His finger on the pulse of mankind. He perceiveth the disease, and prescribeth, in His unerring wisdom, the remedy. Every age hath its own problem, and every soul its particular aspiration. The remedy the world needeth in its present-day afflictions can never be the same as that which a subsequent age may require. Be anxiously concerned with the needs of the age ye live in, and center your deliberations on its exigencies and requirements.”
Gleanings From the Writings of Bahá’u’lláh, p. 213
Yes, to have peaceful and harmonious society all we need to do is get rid of the gays. They are sick and need to seek medical attention. In fact anyone wanting to have sex outside of marriage or without being married is forbidden. We should do away with drunks and drugs. Those things are bad. And men shouldn't have hair below their ear. Who do they think they are the Beatles?

And on and on with tons of rules to follow... that only apply to Baha'is? And that's going to fix the worlds problems? I don't think so. God needs everybody to believe in the Baha'i Faith or I don't see how it's going to work. And still, with everybody "saying" they believe and are Baha'is, will they follow all the dumb, sorry, I mean follow all of God's perfect rules? I doubt it will happen, so Baha'is will need a police force to gather up all the gays, druggies, drunks, swingers, fornicators and all the rest of the "evil" doers.

Or, am I wrong and everything's going to be fine? How do you think it's going to work?

And yet God has given me a wealth of true spiritual understandings, while you got NOTHING.

Why is that?

You are free to believe that you got something if you want to but I will never believe it.

Only because your mythology has left you spiritually clueless and broken. It has robbed you of understanding what your soul really is and it's abilities, including it's DIRECT connection to God.

I believe that I got everything and you got nothing.

That's just EGO speaking.

That's unfortunate for them. If they believed they would understand who Adam was.
Yes, who is he in Baha'i beliefs. He is not the first man. He wasn't in the garden walking with God and eating forbidden fruit. So what is his "true" story? The story that justifies Baha'is saying he is a manifestation of God?

It was ushered in in 1844, but the kings and rulers of that time rejected Baha'u'llah so the Most Great Peace did not come, but it will be established during this age, after more people start to follow the counsels of Baha'u'llah.

“My object is none other than the betterment of the world and the tranquillity of its peoples. The well-being of mankind, its peace and security, are unattainable unless and until its unity is firmly established. This unity can never be achieved so long as the counsels which the Pen of the Most High hath revealed are suffered to pass unheeded.”
Gleanings From the Writings of Bahá’u’lláh, p. 286
So The Bab ushered in peace? And since that time how many wars have happened?
