God and You

Doesn't matter. We ARE God's children. His interest in us is such as a parent for their child.
Yes it does matter.
An omniscience being cannot by very definition of omniscience have an interest.
Therefore you asking if we mere non-omniscience mortals have children is irrelevant.

I'm your huckleberry.

Are you omniscience? Do you know what it is to be omniscience? The very word is such that we have no REAL understanding of it. So, unless you can live forever, I don't believe you can answer this.

I already stated I was not omniscience.
There fore I cannot know what it is like to be omniscience.
You really need to pay more attention to what is actually posted int he thread before you reply.

I can and did answer it.
Your not liking the answer is irrelevant.

The love a parent has for their child can be quite varied - leaving them for adoption, for example, attempting to kill them in extreme cases, favouring some children over others.

Which parent and child do you have in mind here?

ahhh, yes we christians usually want to worship a god that is a negligent parent. Imagine the best parent you possibly think of. you still wouldn't come close to how much God cares for his children.

So therefore you cannot know if an omniscience God has an interest or not.

Care is a very human idea.
If God cares so much for his children how do you account for the problem of pain?

He hides it well!

Then by definition he is not omniscience.
Again, you need to pay more attention to what people post before you reply.

Again, you are not understanding what I'm saying. I've paid attention to all the posts. You seem to think that you know what God does and doesn't do. The very word cannot be defined by us. But you think you have the definition. NO ONE knows what God thinks, I ahve my faith that he cares for us genuinely. Where does your evidence stem from?
