I think she's saying that making Goddess parenthetical, implies the feminine is an afterthought, second class, etc.

Not in Hinduism who worship Adi Shakti (The oldest power). Why in parentheses, because the concept is not there in Abrahmic religions. That was to emphasize Goddesses. Hindus worship nine forms of Durga for nine days twice in a year - Navaratra. That is when Bengalis and Gujaratis have huge idols of Durga. That is their biggest holiday. Elsewhere Hindus fete nine pre-puberty girls, wash and touch their feet, give gifts. They are considered forms of the Mother Goddess. Majority abandon non-vegetarian food. Many fast (like our Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, who will take only water with sweet lime during this period, no food). But kindly note, there are many sects and views in Hinduism.

You don't need to be accepted to be god. Therefore you are. If you then want to relate to people you have to relate and who is the one that can relate to god?
hence you need to be acting like jesus to make a difference in people. The holy spirit is there to save you in bad times, when people act as god, you got a problem.

I am only saying these things because you are a "neube" and I don't want you to get discouraged and decide to leave :) .

Lord Jesus is quoted to have said that, "Only through Me can you know the Father." So just for the sake of discussion, there is no way that anybody is going to know "your" God, the Father, unless they are approaching the Father through the Son. If one is approaching the Father through the Son, then they can "know" the Father, which is the entity that you are calling God. And the Father they will know will have the qualities that you have listed :) ! And should we strive to be more like the Father that you have listed the qualities for? Yes we all should :) especially if we consider ourselves Christians! Answer everybody's post Nathan, these wonderful folks have provided you an opportunity to get some posting credits. And just for fun ask Lord Jesus or the Holy Spirit for some small thing to say :) .

Jesus was given authority over everything and everything was put in his hands by the Most High. There is no way to the Most High unless the Shepherd leads us to Him. We should always strive to be closer to the Most High. His attributes are more praise worthy.

Can a personality watch over a person? In my faith, since this is comparative religion, the Law is what guides not watches over you you. Not a personality, which is weird nor a being. "The breathe of life", not the breathe of a person.

I dont see how that make sense. Please explain.
