God Is a Problem

As I said, it appears you are blinded and certainly don’t understand the Gospel that Christians proclaim. There are spirits (as per my signature) but, at this point, you don’t believe there are.
I am blinded.
Yet I can see that Trump is a pox on society.
Christians love & admire him. They want
him to lead. He's God's chosen.

I am blinded.
Yet I can see that both Christians & Jews
wage genocide on Palestinians.

I am blinded.
Yet I can see that your God inspires worshipers
to perpetrate evil in Its name.

Go figure.

I think "God" means different things to different people

But I think most people are well aware of this

As multiple people (not necessarily Christians) have posted. you are blinded by your Gaza narrative but I understand that it is the god of this world that blinds people (at least according to my signature)

You seek refuge in a scripture written by ignorant
goatherds thousands of years ago. You believe their
fables that you alone have the gift of sight, & that
all who disagree are blind. You believe you are right
because you believe what you believe, unable to
see this delusional circular mental trap.

Look at where this book leads your ilk....violent
conquest, torture, war crimes, genocide, thievery,
bigotry, rape, dishonesty, coveting, oppression,
theocracy, intolerance, hubris, ignorance, etc.
"Onward Christian soldiers!"
"All hail Donald Trump, chosen by God!"
His values are your values, with neither
denial nor shame.

Here in USA, "God" is the sky fairy behind theocracy,
intolerance, brutality, predation, control, devastation,
fanaticism, ignorance, & malignancy.
He should put up for the election...sounds much better than either of the two obvious contenders!

Ignorant? Timeless truths IMV.

Really? “For God so loved the world He gave His only begotten son”… Not sure what book you are reading.

???

As compared to who?

Don’t forget, God used a donkey and Kings too. He will even use you, if you want.

They're merely your beliefs.
Really? “For God so loved the world He gave His only begotten son”…

As I recall, he's an immortal deity.
No sacrifice. Just exited the earthly realm.

Besides, even if it were really a sacrifice, it doesn't
justify the deadly bigotry we see from adherents.

Not sure what book you are reading.
I don't read the book.
It's a translation of a translation of what
appears to be a whole lotta poetic license
that's beyond me to discern clear meanings.
So I watch what believers do.
They get their morals from the book.
As I recall, his son wasn't lost.
He's an immortal deity who just went back home.
No loss.
No sacrifice.
Besides, even if it were really a sacrifice, it doesn't
justify the deadly bigotry we see from adherents.

It's no coincidence that supporters of Trump are
also supporters of Israel's genocide of Palestinians.

LOL… OK. I still say it sounds like blindness to me.

@Revoltingest you are fighting too hard something you can't defeat. Just ask God to make you meet the guide on earth, be ready for miracles and be ready to accept them, and be ready join God's forces. You can't defeat oppression alone and it's bigger than you think.

The Taghut is a type of a sorcerer but more then a sorcerer and oracle, he is conduit of Satan/Iblis himself. Behind the scenes that person, his wife, and followers have too much power. Another title for him is "the father of flame" (Abu Lahab). And his wife, being the carrier of the wood means she leads the women sorcerers who are the overwhelming percentage of sorcerers and oracles of Satanic descent.

They will be defeated, but not in an orthodox way you can imagine as of now.

You have a good heart that cares for justice and people.

The secret I've learned from Quran:

"Alas they are the havoc/mischief makers but they do not perceive". They don't perceive it and nothing you and I can say will make them perceive it.

This is because they lie to themselves. The problem is any false religion will make you dishonest to yourself. The dishonesty of Trinity to other things, makes them dishonest in politics as well. This is why the issue of disbelief to proofs from God and mischief in the earth is intertwined in the Quran. The dishonesty towards what is real going on has consequences. But it all stems from dishonesty to oneself with respect to God.

The problem you are assuming there is nothing unnatural going on. The Gospels are explicit in that Jesus (a) himself says the accusation of blasphemy of son of God is decontextualizing his words as they similarly express the same in their books.

I've learned if people won't even be honest to themselves with God and the next world, and are willing to go to hell, for their religion/culture/society, they will be dishonest in politics.

The Muslims don't care for their Palestinian brethren as they should except a few among them. When Imam Hussain (a) was killed, he was sad really only because he knew the direction the world was heading after. He could foresee the consequences.

Neither Ali (a) nor Hassan (a) nor Hussain (a) gave up nor Imams (a) after, but they also were not deluded in expectations of people. God has back up plans for when things don't go the way as intended.

You hate to accept the fate of mankind - in that - generation to generation we passed on corruption. You can't do the impossible. If you want a significant role, you have to connect to the other man behind the scenes, the God appointed one, and he will guide you and you will help him and he will help you.

Of course it does.
Your book tells you that you have The
Truth, & that non-believers are blind.
It's an airtight delusion.
And that's the "God problem", ie, that
thinking & evidence are irrelevant.

It's not that much effort.

I don't seek out imaginary beings.
(I'm an adult.)
The problem you are assuming there is nothing unnatural going on.
Natural explanations work for me.
But even if the problem were supernatural,
I'm just a muggle, so it's above my pay grade.

I don't expect success.
But I do what compels me.

No, not the being, deity, concept, or whatever you call God, but the name itself, especially in interfaith discourse or when speaking to the non-religious.

I've seen "God" (note the capitalization rendering the word a proper noun) used to describe everything from a personal deity, to a creator, to an underlying substratum for reality, to existence itself, and many things between. Yet people use the word even when their religion or culture has another name for it.

An example off the top of my head is Ramakrishna apparently referring to Nirguna Brahman as "God" in The Gospel of Sri Ramakrishna. Of course, what he means is understood by Vedantins and probably most Hindus, but the meaning of the term is likely lost on people outside of this subset.

What does "God" refer to in your religion or culture?

Do you agree that use of the term is problematic outside of your own religion or culture? If not, how do you reconcile the differences? If so, what do you think can be done to communicate what is being referred to in interfaith dialogue or conversations with the non-religious?
I see that my subtle proselytising is starting to work.

yes… In my understanding (as per my signature) Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.

I did find life with Him!

I call my God by His Name Jehovah (Psalms 83:18, KJV…”That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, art the most high over all the earth”). Which, in Hebrew, is Yahweh, the God of the Israelites (and Jews, I guess).
Malachi 3:16, Legacy Standard.…
“Then those who feared Yahweh spoke to one another, and Yahweh gave heed and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before Him for those who fear Yahweh and who think upon His name.”

He’s the one that Jesus worshipped.

Using His name cuts out any confusion, imo.

I am not @Revoltingest , @Link. But I assure you that neither him nor me are either interested or even compatible with those prospects.

No hardship whatsoever in that.
