Anyway, I wouldn't assume that people aren't willing to make a difference.

Yeah, they aren't willing unless it is human life, sometimes not even then...

Touch my post again and I'll be forced to take action.
Do what you must.

The next time you miss a very important concept I may just fix it in your post again though. Deal with it :D

Images such as this lead me to question the assertion that "God is Love." How do you justify such a descriptor?

What about the picture would lead you to assert that God is not love?

I think that you presume that we all believe in an all-powerful God as opposed to deity that acts through us or that we ourselves are deity.

(As for the 'fixing posts' and snippy remarks people are making toward one another, please remember that we are a forum of peace and compassion. If you see a post that you don't like, either don't respond, debate it, report it or put the other person on 'ignore'.

If your implying that I was being snippy..I honestly wasn't, I was just curious as to why he does that, he's done that to me a few times.:)

No, not at all. I don't think anyone was intending to be snippy. I was more just trying to prevent anything negative from being said further on, as a response to other posts. Sorry if it looked like I was focusing on anyone. :sorry1:

If I feel compelled enough to, I'll just report it, although it really isn't necessary in this case..I'll try to keep my mouth shut from now on:foot: ..thanks Feathers!:D

You're a god (deity)? If so, what kind of powers do you possess because this kid is in immediate need of a Big Mac. Can you make that happen?

I didn't say that I believed I was deity. I was pointing out that not everyone here believes in an omnipotent god.

Maybe you should start a poll and find out where everyone stands on the topic.

1. We can assume that there is no god and life is chaotic.

2. We can assume that if there is a god, it lets life be chaotic.

That could be interesting. Shall I add one to this thread, or create another?

You'd probably get better response if you started a freshy. But that's up to you.

5. We can assume that if there is a god, it's omniscient.

If it is omniscient, then it cannot be benevolent, as it would not allow needless suffering if it was benevolent and could see the future.
