And where is the Universal Mother?God is the Universal Father, the God of all creation.
The Son of God would be the Universal Mother in that the Father and Eternal Son create together. And where is the Universal Mother?
I'll give you an example.Basically: WHO OR WHAT IS HE????
Who - or what - exactly is he? What type of thing is he?I've been trying to de-familiarise myself with God - to put aside my old assumptions and beliefs about him and look at him with new eyes:
To approach him as though I have never heard of him
This has lead to more questions than answers!
I am hoping to construct a fresh understanding of God from the ground up, as though I've never heard of him
So please, answer my questions...
I'm sure more people than just me would benefit from your answers
Here are my questions, which all assume he exists:
Who - or what - exactly is he? What type of thing is he?
Is he even a "he" - is he a person or something else?
What does he do?
What does he look like?
What does he want?
Does he care about us?
Does he have a mind?
Does he have a personality - and if so what is he like?
What has he ever done for us?
Who am I in relation to God?
Who are you in relation to God?
What does he do?
What does he want us to do?
Does he have a plan?
Where does he come from?
Does he favour some people over others? Or some groups over other groups?
What is he going to do in the future?
Is it possible to have a relationship with him?
So Jesus is female? Then why do refer to her as "him" and "son"?The Son of God would be the Universal Mother in that the Father and Eternal Son create together.

It is always best to assume that we as finite beings cannot fathom the infinite. I think it is wonderful that you are trying to look at God fresh.I've been trying to de-familiarise myself with God - to put aside my old assumptions and beliefs about him and look at him with new eyes:

But Jesus was quite literally a man, not a woman. The Son of God would be the Universal Mother in that the Father and Eternal Son create together.
So, there is this gay (and incestuous) couple creating everything but many Christians are against gay marriage. Fits:But Jesus was quite literally a man, not a woman.
I'm not sure what that had to do with the fact that Jesus was literally a man and not a woman. So, there is this gay (and incestuous) couple creating everything but many Christians are against gay marriage. Fits:

First of all, you need to use capitals when you refer to God, and two, you need to refer to Him, as Him.You didn't read the OP, did you? @Eddi wanted to de-familiarise himself from god so he can discover it with an open, unbiased mind. One step in that process is to try to not attribute a gender to it. You know the process is complete when you call god "it" without fail and without thinking that something sounds wrong.
And when you go on and discover god and find dangling parts between its legs, you can call it "him" with justification.
God transcends gender. We refer to him as a him only out of convenience -- in Hebrew you only had two pronouns to choose from and one had to be chosen. But the tradition of referring to God as our Father doesn't make him actually a male being.First of all, you need to use capitals when you refer to God, and two, you need to refer to Him, as Him.
@Eddi : is that true? I'd like to hear from the source. The OP, out of a devout sentiment, is attempting to re-familiarize himself with God, ...because he already has a reverence for Him, and not because he's unsure if it's worth the effort or not.
The OP is merely trying to remove any biases or indoctrination that are outside the Bible, that he may have received in the early stages of his faith.
Jesus wasn't the Second person of the Paradise Trinity, he's a creation of the Trinity. The Universal Father delegates creatives powers and authority to subordinate Deities who in turn work with their counterparts in the creation of their respective domains. But Jesus was quite literally a man, not a woman.
Jesus isn't the second person of the Trinity, he is a creation of the Trinity. So Jesus is female? Then why do refer to her as "him" and "son"?
"God" is the great mystery source, sustenance, and purpose of all that it.Basically: WHO OR WHAT IS HE????
Who - or what - exactly is he? What type of thing is he?
Is he even a "he" - is he a person or something else?
