Be there a perfect being, God. Gods greatest desire is the soul's worth for fellowship. God desires hearts of care and compassion as deserves. God desires mercy. Mercy requires repentance.
There are two types of beings, the heart of a giver, and the heart of a taker.
There is the vanity and false pride of life, that desires power and control and vain glory above all things.
Then there is the heart of a giver, who seeks to give as belongs, and desires to lift up the compassionate, and merciful, and repentant.
God desires repentance, but if a being never repents then God must judge to punish. Much of humanity brings upon itself judgment. Why does this happen? Because they are vain, boastful, arrogant, greedy, lustful, spiteful, selfish, cruel, unforgiving, only out for the self and selfs own, murderous, possessive, and only seek to have more then their share. They lack basic care and compassion as deserves.
There are three types of pure love above: mercy, as deserves, and charity.
God bestows all three as is fitting for the sake of the soul's worth in fellowship. God wants to relate, but human hearts must become just for God to do that.
A will against God and God's just heart of living simply isnt worth God's fellowship. God extends mercy to the very last, but there is a line on evil where a being will never ever have a heart for what truly matters ever.
So its not God that has made enemies. Humans make themselves enemies to God, and thus draw judgment from God.
The #1 heart of God is charity. God wants to lift up and to give. God wants to make well of souls, and to make them beautiful and perfect in justice and in truth.
Without virtues it is impossible to please God, and no relationship can exist with God.
You are either on one side or the other with God because thats the only way that it is.
