Gun Pics

Maybe you have one. Maybe you have many. Which one gun is your favorite or your "baby?" Post pics please! :)

I built this one from a kit. It's a 22LR so ammo is cheap. Turning the crank makes it fire. Since it is operated by a crank and not by a single pull of a trigger it is not considered full auto and it is not illegal! The barrels fire alternately. Holds 50 rounds on each side for a max of 100 rounds on tap. :) Unfortunately I have been too busy at work lately to play with it.

That is terrifying. Remind me not to break into your house.

I do not own a gun, but I have shot a few, and so far the AK-47 has been incomparable. Nothing else felt like a gun should. The gun of the people.

I have never even held a gun. No one in my household owns a gun. Guns are so alien to me. The idea of keeping one in your house is so strange.
never mind me.....

Now I'm not a huge fan of guns (though I have shot wax with my uncle a few times), but this looks like it would be really, really fun to take to the range.

I don't own any guns myself, and have never shot one. But in terms of looks, I like these ones:

I've shot an M16AI. Particularly lightweight, with a light kick back. It feels unnatural. The AK, well that makes a man grow a brain, a heart, and a set of testicles.

I've been shooting Black Powder for forty some years. Shot moderns to be sure, but once you go black you can never go back. :p (sorry for the terrible pun)

My sights are set on a .58 cal 1805 Harpers Ferry:

Now that's a gun!

Are you seriously suggesting a .58 cal gun isn't a formidable weapon?
Just because it's sub-sonic, or uses black powder doesn't mean it isn't lethal. It would be interesting to compre the lb-feet of energy at ten feet with that of a 9mm or .38 special.

In re EO's machine gun: interesting, but limited usefulness. It's not very portable. It certainly couldn't be deployed quickly enough to be a self defense weapon, and continuously cranking such a light weapon would make aiming essentially impossible.

Would you mind also sharing the combo to your safe, and what room you keep them in? Also, do you keep any extra cash around the house? ;)
