Hatred of Christianity!

I have a Darwin fish bumper sticker on my truck. On the highway I try to drive in front of people with Jesus fish, I'ts good fun.

I'm sure that applies to some people.
Yes and you are also right! The churches are full of many who become self righteous which makes it hard to find a good church to go to sometimes or it seems there are few in every church who seem to understandand and walk in truth.

This is true and why I seek out a Pastor who teaches with humility and admits his own faults as this gives me a clue to what I can expect from the congregation. Not that the congregation would be perfect but that there will still be good fruit in the church from the Pastors teachings.

Interesting. Is it ok for me to hate non-Christians then b/c they infect my government with their secular views, my kids school,

The US federal and state governments, and public schools are secular. It's a violation of the US Constitution to make laws based on Christianity or any other religion.

"It is easier to find people fit to govern
themselves than people to govern others.
Every man is the best, the most responsible,
judge of his own advantage.

1.
lack of toleration; unwillingness or refusal to tolerate or respect contrary opinions or beliefs, persons of different races or backgrounds, etc.

Tolerance and respect are not identical concepts regardless of what your definition states or where you got it.

You do show a refusal to respect contrary opinions. More so, your definition of intolerance is horrible in the first place (as is your definition of secular, but that is a different matter).

Not at all, I respect differing opinions of al stripes.
I do not respect magical thinking, which is what most religion is based upon.
I haven`t even uttered my definition of "secular" in this thread.

More so, you fail or actually refuse to accept the idea that not all Christians are the same. Your insistence of offering such sweeping generalizations about Christians shows this to be true.

Again, I`m not speaking of "Christians" I`m speaking of "Christianity".

You are projecting your own meaning and not my intended meaning onto my words.
This is something that most Christians "generally" do when they fail to analyze a statement before they become offended by it.

You have to know them by the fruit.

Why are Christians so fixated on sin and forgiveness? It seems that almost any post from a Christian is along the lines of "I am not perfect, but God forgives me"; "I'm a sinner too, but...". That' the primary reason I left Christianity behind... sin, sin, sin, sin, sin.

Only when somone is honest with their own faults can they do something about them and make changes. You can't just be positive witout letting go of the negative. If you throw good apples on top of a bunch of bad ones then eventually all of them will rot.Face all that is in yourself that is wrong and let it go and then the positive comes automatically.
