Hatred of homosexuals, Christians and the rich

Okay, so in what way are Christians (and to whatever extent, the rich) going to be persecuted in the next 20 years?

Not persecuted, but become such a minority and hated that the social process of tolerance and acceptance will work backwards in comparison to blacks, Hispanics, gays, etc. it's not as dominant now such as the op stated as I fear it will be in the near future. Lol prophesy.

I guess I'm failing to see how any of that qualifies as persecution.

I doubt there'd be major persecution, if any it'd probably relate to heavily fundamentalists. To be fair, you did say persecution, it just slipped my mind.

Christians aren't hated around these parts unless its each other. Its atheists get a bad rap and they probably are mainly in the closet here in the west, ones that come out have seen persecution.

I am coming to the conclusion that the most harassed, belittled, discriminated groups in America are not blacks, hispanics, native Americans, nor Jews or Muslims, or women... et all.

It is Christians and homosexuals who face the worst of all of this.

And the most abused of all is a homosexual Christian.

Not far behind these two groups are the rich.

Some of this hate directed towards these three almost makes me wonder if they may become victims of future camps, prisons or worse at the hands of hate groups.

The most targetted of all is a rich homosexual Christian.
I am neither a homosexual nor a Christian, but this is what I see.

The hatred needs to stop.
Like you I am not of the three and disagree, unconventionally for a fact and I feel the insults an injury mostly of all three on a regular basis, now why do you think that is?

The rich aren't hated. The obscenely rich pouring more money than a significant portion of the populace will ever see into the abjectly UNworthy cause of exponentially increasing income inequality are hated, and rightly so. Billionaires advocating an end to such destructive policy tend to be much more popular.

To the extent that Christians really are hated, it's due to the fact that their rabid pop fundamentalists simultaneously idolize (literally make idols of), pervert, and betray Christianity and Constitution alike to enforce their own hatred of everyone who dares even long to live free of their rule. Again, rightly so.

Which leads us with homosexuals. I'm no fan of the Oppression Olympics, but if you think gays have it worse than anyone, you should ask some bi/ pansexuals about gay monosexism or go read some transfolk war stories sometime.

Precisely. No one hates Warren Buffet or Bill Gates. It's Donald Trump's head we want on a pike.

Indeed. Oddly enough, people don't like being slowly killed by parasites.

ETA: and JK Rowling is often held up as an exemplar of welfare. After living on state aid for much of the creation of the Harry Potter franchise, she not only refuses to dodge the minimum gratitude of her tax "burden," but gave so much above and beyond it that she "lost" her billionaire status.

Woman didn't lose a thing though, did she now? It's hardly a hardship to live as a multimillionaire after struggling for years just to stay fed and sheltered. She simply chose to make her values manifest.

Just like Trump and the Koch brothers. Believing Rowling's compassion is superior to their gluttonous hoarding isn't my idea of bigotry.
