Our indoctrination is better than yours because it takes much less time. There is less God in school and more Atheists in our country today.
I'm not saying there is anything wrong with Atheists, I'm saying our children are not thinking for themselves. Many have been indoctrinated by a Godless agenda.
You just validated that you have been indoctrinated. You stated that the ToE is scientific fact, when it is actually part fact and part speculation, philosophy and world view.

In our family we have protestants, catholics, JWs, pagans, baptists, bhuddists and one atheist. My kids get exposed to quite enough religion without having it cut into their practical education, thank you.
I never said I wanted God taught in school, I just don't want anti-religion taught either.
And religion is thinking for themselves?
No, but teaching anti-religion or mocking religion is not either.
Religion isn't taught at all in school, or did you not know that?
Anti-religion isn't either.
Well, it's taught about in school, at least it was in mine. "World religions" was coupled with "philosophy." My Senior English teacher also taught parts of the Bible from the standpoint of literature.
Which is nice, IMO. I don't want school to pretend religion doesn't exist.
You just don't like the idea that someone can be atheist of their own free will.
Get over it.
I find that perfectly acceptable and keeping in context with the subject being taught.
They are taught about what religion has done in history class. Good and the bad.
But what about in philosophy class? After all, religion and philosophy are often intertwined.
Kind of off topic, but...
I find it disturbing that so many relate atheism so closely with socialism and communism. The only other atheist I know personally is one of the most republican conservative guys I've ever met. The only extreme right philosophy he doesn't believe in is religion. This guy is a red, white and blue gun toting capitalist.
I happen to shoot pretty straight down the middle on most issues but I'm America and capitalism all the way too. Maybe we are just odd ducks?
I've been surprised that some here are surprised by my being both an atheist & a libertarian, with all my capitalism & gun-tote'n.Kind of off topic, but...

I completely agree, I'm a centrist -fiscal conservative.
Communism fails the test because humans may be social creatures. but they are extremely competitive. Capitalism works to the benefit of that condition. That's why it works so damn well.
I hope you understand that the flatearthers were of the same mentality of the skeptic mentality thats in science today.
