Homosexuality is a sin just like any other sin.
Right, but committed, legally recognized homosexual relationships didn't exist at that point, so they likely weren't considered. The Bible only talks to promiscuous homosexual conduct. Not relationships. What about celibate homosexual relationships.
I believe 1 Corinthians 6:9 clearly shows any homosexual conduct is wrong; "Or do you not know that unrighteous people will not inherit God’s Kingdom? Do not be misled. Those who are sexually immoral, idolaters, adulterers, men who submit to homosexual acts, men who practice homosexuality,"Right, but committed, legally recognized homosexual relationships didn't exist at that point, so they likely weren't considered. So God wants us to be happy and the way to reach this happiness at least on earth is to deny yourself sexual intimacy which results in another level of bonding and limits stress and sexual frustration with your spouse if they are the same sex as you even if you only have one sexual partner for let's say practically your entire life? That seems unconscionable cruel to ask of anyone. Please understand these are the true God's standards and requirements, not mine. And I believe since Jehovah created us, he knows best what is good for us. And being the loving God he is, he wants us to be happy. Unfortunately, we are living a life today that is far from what God purposes for us, IMO, and we desperately need direction from him to have the happiness that eludes so many. Since God's wisdom is obviously infinitely greater than mine, I choose to accept his direction in this matter. What others do is their decision.
Since God created us, I believe he knows better than I how what we do affects our happiness. Pleasure and happiness are not synonymous. So God wants us to be happy and the way to reach this happiness at least on earth is to deny yourself sexual intimacy which results in another level of bonding and limits stress and sexual frustration with your spouse if they are the same sex as you even if you only have one sexual partner for let's say practically your entire life? God's standards are what they are,
Except that we know for a fact (as in this is Scientifically proven) that sexual release is synonymous with lower level of stress, decreased chance of some cancers and when facilitated with a significant other increases the love/bond which leads to a healthy relationship.Since God created us, I believe he knows better than I how what we do affects our happiness. Pleasure and happiness are not synonymous.
The Bible contains God's standards, IMO.How would I know what standards you are claiming are God's?
You are not a particularly credible source of information.

The Bible contains a cornucopia of conflicting standards. The Bible contains God's standards, IMO.
Sex is a gift from loving Creator who is God A from religion A.I would not find that surprising, since sex is a gift from our loving Creator. However, God has also given direction on how this gift should be enjoyed. (Hebrews 13:4) Misuse of God's gift has resulted in much harm to millions, IMO, The true God has also provided wine for man's enjoyment, but misuse of this gift leads to disaster. Same with misusing the gift of sex. (Psalm 104:15, 1 Corinthians 6:9,10)
stating the truth about God's standards
The Bible contains God's standards, IMO.
Scientists have pretty much come out and said that sexual orientation is most likely down to genetic factors.@ whom voted Genetic , did the scientists confirmed it's about "genetic" ?
that's maybe about female and male , that's knownScientists have pretty much come out and said that sexual orientation is most likely down to genetic factors.
Well I'm on my phone right now so I'll have to come back to this, since I'm unable to post sources using my phone. But it will have to be after work which is in like 10 hours time! Gah!!!!! So I ask for some patience, if you please. But most Biologists would be my source.that's maybe about female and male , that's known
I said about homosexual ,what your source?
So God gives us a gift then tells us explicitly how we are to use it? That's not giving a gift. That's just being a control freak.I would not find that surprising, since sex is a gift from our loving Creator. However, God has also given direction on how this gift should be enjoyed. (Hebrews 13:4) Misuse of God's gift has resulted in much harm to millions, IMO, The true God has also provided wine for man's enjoyment, but misuse of this gift leads to disaster. For example? The Bible contains a cornucopia of conflicting standards.
Sex is a gift from loving Creator who is God A from religion A.
Sex is a gift from loving Creator who is God B from religion B.
Sex is a gift from loving Creator who is God C/D/E...etc from religion C/D/E...etc.
Which Creator from which religion really is the Creator?
Evidence that any of them is the Creator?
If you say only your religion's God is the Creator, what is your evidence which proves that only your religion's God is the Creator?
What is your evidence which proves that any other religion's God is not the Creator?
