Am I the only one reminded of the "Goobacks" episode from South Park where all the men had a gay orgy?

But it's their prerogative to think so, just as your belief is your prerogative. You said "Homosexuality isn't wrong, not even in a religious context." and I simply pointed out that in a religious context, the one in which Christians take the Bible literally, it most certainly is wrong. You may think they're wrong, but that doesn't change the nature of their belief. That's just it though. They may think the Bible saying it means God is saying it, but the Bible is also the product of human beings and the culture it was written in.
Why sorry, it's not something of which who I am now, and as I said im not embarrased or anything but it's just something that if i had the power to change I would have, unfortunately was forced beyound my will. You're gay? Wow I feel sorry for you. I know you feel bad experiences may have caused your homosexuality, but it did not cause mine. I was born gay. As for it being harmful to society- in what way?

Sorry I didn't know homosexuality could have just exist without having reasons, then I withdraw my opinion that it would harm society. But sexual identity is confirmed on small ages, so there might be reasons you didn't know about that made you gay! but if your sure that there isn't any reason then I completely stand to withdrawing my opinion.
Thanks useful information!Greeks were bisexual. Yes, there are things that may make you to like men, but they not necesarily need to be thraumatizing. I mean, basically greeks had a society that saw no problem with men on men action (women on women was different. You ask me they were boring fellas ) so if you were born there it was normal part of the enviroment, and as one learn from the enviroment well... the didn´t even have the definition of bisexual because it was just normal.
something that few people tell you about heracles is that he had sex with as many if not more male partners as women partners.
Homosexuality is a desire - not a lifestyle. For example: I like eating burgers - it's my desire. Do I make that my lifestyle? No - I suppress the urge to eat burgers because I know it is bad for me. Homosexuality is the same thing...

Yeah, I could suppress my homosexual tendencies, seeing as how I'm bisexual and I could only be with women, but why? Homosexuality doesn't do me harm.
FWIW, there are therapies which homosexuals or bicurious people can go through. There are even religious camps for bicurious children. These teach them to suppress homosexual tendencies. Betcha can't guess the suicide rates of people in these kinds of programs
I feel so terrible for laughing so hard at that.
i like you lol and im glad your cousin has a good life and is happy :rainbow1:I doubt my cousin would agree as he has been in relationship with his bf for 2 years. He grew up in a predominantly catholic family and lived with our family for a while because his family couldn't deal with him being in a relationship with another guy. It was one thing I guess to come out of the closet as they thought they could change him, but to be in a relationship, people tend to have their little narrow minded beliefs of such "abominations". Both his brothers and parents are straight (heterosexual) and staunchly against homosexuality so I doubt his upbringing had anything to do with it. As for myself, I'm glad he's happy. Heck he lives a much more positive life style than myself. He's going to college and working to get a degree in law.
The pope was to talk about the incorrectness of Gay marriage in spain (I beleive it was?), and his prepared speech was cut short due to elements.
sound to me like God is pro LGTB rights
