The key word here is 'my'. Truly your religion is not mine and your God is foreign to me.
As is yours to me... isn't it good that I live in a nation that values the right of each of us to seek god in our own manner.

What I am trying to get at is, would your religious belief that homosexuality is immoral motivate you to oppose gay marriage actively by changing laws or are you content just voicing your opinion? If it is the latter, I think your stance is perfectly justified by your religious belief. It is no longer a new or interesting thought. If, on the other hand, you passed laws like prop 8 to ban gay marriage, then your religious beliefs are imposing themselves on other people and become relevant.

Such people choose to live inauthentic lives.
For them living as a hetrosexual would be living "inauthentic lives".

At the end of the day it's their lives and they can live them as they wish, .. but they should not expect everyone to be supportive of the decisions they choose to make.
Why not? And what is with the double standards?

Homosexuality should be a criminal offense? What are you suggesting here? Bedroom police?

As to your question - yes, homosexuality should be a criminal offense.

No, it shouldn´t. Doing so would just make people suffer for something they can´t control. It would be like making hetrosexuality illegal. Pointless and doing way more harm then good.

Naturally.

See I could agree to that if it was the same for everybody. I don't make open sexual displays myself, I think it inappropriate. I am a Buddhist, and in Buddhist idea of society, it's inappropriate to bring sex into public.

It's because people refuse to follow this principle that homosexuality should be made illegal.
So basically you believe that because people refuse this principle then the state should throw it in the garbage can and force people to live in a society where private matters suddenly are public matters? Sorry, does not make any sense.

Besides, hetrosexuals are doing the same thing to much greater degree and yet no one thinks hetrosexuality should be made illegal, so why should homosexuality be dealt with differently.
