Whatever gains the most power for the most people in the most situations is the most moral.
That's my moral code anyway.
You don't, you experience it.How do you know there is any such source?

Did I just see slavery equaled to being an employee? Really? Honestly? Does someone not know what a slave is or are they being intentionally obtuse as to serve their own desires?
Also, the fact that slaves are considered the property of their masters and are not granted basic human rights because they were not considered equals to their owners. It's pretty obvious which kind of slavery God talks about in the Bible considering the Bible specifies the exact criteria for which one person can literally own another, how long for, and how many of their children should be considered their property.Let's compare. A slave works for his master. An employee works for his employee. A slave has to do what the master requires of him. The employee has to do what his employer requires of him. The slave is provided food, clothing and housing. An employee is provided money to purchase food, clothing and housing.
There are a few differences. The slave doesn't get to choose his food, clothing and housing but an empoyee does. A slave is not free to leave the premises without permission but an employee can go wherever he wants provided he can get to work on time.
God has the most power over everyone and in all situations.

a slaves child is sold
Much like a pet or farm animal. Seriously, if he's going to compare slaves to anything it shouldn't be employees, it should be farm animals. Well, actually, farm animals have it better off really. Treat them inhumanely and the ASPCA will step in and remove the animals and arrest you to boot.

Seriously, there's no way you can weasil out of that one.

i hereby profess that his comeback will be...
"we are all born as slaves to something"
He does.
