How does someone be spiritual without religion?

Why don't you try a different sect of Christianity? UU or Bahai or something. There are Christian sects that don't require an unsustainable level of belief in implausible things. It sounds like you really clicked with it, so I don't understand why you gave up. (Although "forcing yourself to believe" sends up some warning bells.)

I have no trouble being spiritual without religion or meditation. I simply listen to my heart and follow its instructions (particularly when it insists). Sometimes I feel incredible, inexplicable bliss and wonder at the beauty of the world and the unfathomable mystery of my existence. I can't imagine religion has anything comparable on offer, although meditation, tai chi and / or yoga do tend to make those moments of bliss and wonder more frequent.

Baha'i is monotheistic, other than that, it seems okay. Kinda.
Unitarian Universalism is kinda silly.
I appreciate the suggestions but those don't really seem like they are for me.
I would probably just be Christian if I could be either of those.

The state of being tired of the world is a sign of being an old soul. Disliking the evil and insincerity of people and the world is a sign of wanting something more substantial. The state you are in can make you free if you have a reciprocating love for God. This is why people become monks and renunciates. The key now for you is looking for the best way to connect to God, and I can assure you that path is Yoga meditation. I emplore you and anyone that feels like this to find a way to become initiated into Kriya Yoga. Everyone should know this liberating technique. If you can learn this technique and practice it daily it will connect you to God. It's a scientific technique that works for everyone. There is also mantra meditation, and Aum meditation where you focus on listening to the blissful vibration of Aum in your right ear while meditating. Looking into the third eye or the point between the eye brows in the deep space of your internal vision while practicing the Aum technique will withdraw your consciousness into spiritual realms. By daily practice of Kriya yoga and these other meditation techniques you are then changing from one that talks and reads about spirituality to one that actually experiences spirituality. It sounds to me that is what you need my friend. An actual contact with God's spirit is possible if you call to him with deep love in deep meditation. His response will be love and bliss over your being. I only say these things because I know they are true and work for me. It will change your outlook on life and inevitably bring God and his grace into your life. I can attest to this personally.

Sorry, it wouldn't let me multi quote your message.
I was tired when I was born.
I was considered weird as a kid and still am.
I remember that I didn't understand why other children acted the ways they did. Pointless things they did! I was more sensitive than any little girl and still am. I also remember not understanding any wrongness. There was some cruelness in everyone, even the most compassionate of people, it hurt/s to say the least. I had a love for god but it was lost in the search for knowledge. I was in bliss but for some reason that wasn't enough.

Can you? I believe there are as many paths as there are people, likely more. I have wanted to be a monk for a long time now. I recently did some research in Numerology and Astrology and all of my numbers and my sign say that I should and likely will become a monk.
I want to be initiated into Kriya Yoga but I don't know where to go.
I have done Aum meditation but not any longer.
My Third eye is the most open of all my Chakras which is an imbalance.
I don't think God would be a he, I believe there is an eternal balance to the Universe a yin and yang of equality. If God were a he I would think there would be an equally powerful she goddess. I kinda think god is all.
God could be a being but it makes more sense to me to think god is it.
Everything which is but 1 thing. I think it is egotistical for us to have created god and made him in human forms or even form at all.
I think god is likely everything connected which is and won't ever be apart.

Spirituality is nothing more than attempting the best you can to understand what and who you are while at the same time attempting the best you can to understand the universe around you, how you fit into it, and why.

There are many ways to do this, some more effective than others depending on the person.

Well you don't seem like the type that cares about fitting in. What is up or popular in this world is down in the spirit world. I used to be sensitive to everything like that but I adapted and became more numb. That's not necessarily the best way to go though. It's good to keep that sensitivity for our world is severly lacking it. Its that compassion and childlike personality that allows God to come in. Jesus said God will show himself not unto the prudent and the wise but unto babes. God understands your predicament. He wants you to see that this is not your home and I'm sure you realize this. He wants you to come back home with him. Don't let knowledge or anything else come in between your love for God. Hold onto the bliss you feel in meditation. That is God and the more you meditate or commune with him the more he will manifest his presence in your own being. Go back to source within your own being. There true understanding and your true home in God resides.

Yes there are other paths but the quickest and most assuring way is Kriya Yoga. Everything in this world is light and energy. Your body is composed of life force or shakti. Scientifically our senses and the way we view this world is directly tied to outward pull of our life force outward from the spine through the nerves endings, muscle tissue through the sense organs. With Kriya Yoga you reverse your consciousness from the delusary perception of Maya to God's presence within your spine and brain. God eludes you when you try look for him with your senses. The riddle of life is reversing your flow of energy from outward identification to God's kingdom within. That is what Jesus was referring to when he told us to seek the kingdom of God first and all else should be added unto you. I know karma yoga and love for God is another path, but through Kriya Yoga you combine all of these paths into a sure fire reassuring path to God. Based on how you talk I don't doubt that you should be a monk. Just make sure you have Yogic techniques with you or you may very well be wasting your time if you don't know how to sit in the silence and learn to control your breathing.

I want to be initiated into Kriya Yoga but I don't know where to go.

God is all. God is everything. Male-Female yet beyond all these forms. We ourselves are apart of God. Our existance is a dream of his, and it is our destiny with his help to awaken in that dream to realize it is him working through our every thought and action.

You should keep going deeper with the Aum technique. If you truly want God you should look to deepening your practice. It can take you to spiritual realms you never thought possible. Buddha ceasely meditated and his efforts were never lost. You have to desire God above all things including results before you really make huge strides on any path to God. Learn Kriya Yoga. I have tried to talk to you on our private messages and I will guide you to places that teach Kriya Yoga. Learn that and other Yogic practices and then practice everyday without attachment to spiritual experiences or advancement and you will get there.
