How does the story of Adam and Eve compatible with science?

Why would I worry when I have my own empirical evidence God exists. You’re like a crackpot non-creation scientist who has a peculiar notion that Christians need brainwashing with lies. Try to respond rationally why I should worry and not you, see if you can do that at least.
Sorry, if it is only your own then by definition it cannot be empirical evidence. Empirical evidence is observable by anyone.

Like I said, you do not even understand the concept of evidence.

Yes I observed it. So back to my original question try not to evade. Why would I worry when I have my own empirical evidence God exists. It’s sad how the natural science community has filled minds with incredulity to the point its complete theory is believed as actual fact. That‘s all been down to human ego, the arrogance of man, scientists wanting desperately to be right, the collective ego has conditioned the unwary. It’s been very misleading. Good luck anyone standing in front of God disbelieving His Word.
The answer to the dilemma the realization that God created life as we know it through the process of evolution.

I did respond rationally. Then you replied with this nonsense.

You can't even make up your mind as to whether or not demons are "tangible" or not. You have not presented any empirical evidence for the god you believe in anywhere in this thread. You didn't even respond to the points I just made and completely cut them out of your response to me.

It might be a dilemma for you. It’s easier for me just accepting the whole of the Bible so there’s no worries. I don’t bother with non-creation science.

Why.should.I.be.worried?

That’s what you claimed, so answer, don’t evade.

I've always believed in God and evolution and old earth was obvious to me as a kid. I also realized at a young age that the Bible books say some pretty dumb things but as I've gotten older I've come to appreciate that the Bible was written by religious humans who didn't know any better. Today young earth creationism has been debunked by the facts of science.

Yes, none of that awful thinking about things to upset you.
It’s drivel, it doesn’t upset. It can all be debunked by rigorous scrutiny. It all started with science estimating the date of a rock which they keep shifting so that it fits with a theory. It’s so sad for those that believe the nonsense. They will be upset when they find the truth.

It does not count if you were the only observer. It is too easy to fool human beings. If others cannot make the same observation it was likely an error on your part at best.

When have scientists ever shifted the age of a rock to do that? Your very own religion tells you not to make claims about others that are false, and this one appears to be very false.

The Earth was known to be old before Darwin's theory came along. The Noah's Ark myth was first refuted by early Christian geologists that showed that there never was a worldwide flood. Darwin and those that accepted his theory did not need to invent deep time. Once again, scientists already knew about it.

You do not appear to have any clue as to what the truth is so how can you scrutinize it? You do not even know how do do so properly.

Tell my, why do you think that your God is a liar?

I gave you a perfect example of how to scrutinise the science you follow in #21, my opening post on this thread. You treat it like fact. Go guess the date of a stone and you’re a scientist.

Why do you keep making false claims about scientists? No one guesses, and your pathetic example failed.

Let's go over the basics of science and work up from there. Until you do that all we can tell you is that you do keep claiming that your God is a liar.

Even if you do not know that you are doing that do you think that God will forgive you? How can he when you do not know enough to even ask for forgiveness?

Yes and they lived more than 100,000 years apart
Maybe. But still, science says, we evolved from other species. Bible seems to say, Adam was made with clay at once.
What would say about this part?
And the fact that, human existed much longer than 6000 years ago.
Those human 'parents' are about 140,000 years apart. Google mitochondrial Eve and Y-Adam.
Not to my knowledge it hasn't. What is your source for this?
first, let's all agree that we're all descended from one man and one woman and this has been verified.

Some folks get their nose out of joint over the idea of the universe being created in 6 days --you know, the sun coming up and going down days? My take is that Genesis doesn't have the sun created until the fourth day, so how long were those first few days w/o the sun?

Genesis says "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth." Ask an honest scientist what happened chronologically before the big bang that could make the big bang happen and they should say that there was no "before" that preceded the big bang because that's when time began. Any talk about parallel universes etc are purely unfalsifiable conjecture w/ no scientific observability to confirm or contradict. Also the words "at once" do not appear in the first chapter of Genesis. However, in the second chapter of Genesis there was a second creation of the earth, the heavens, and man (and woman) but once again the words "at once" do not appear.

My point is that just as science teaches many things, the Bible also teaches many things and it's our job to make sense out of everything and consult about it all. However that's my take and I understand that there are other opinions.
