Tea contains caffeine. I gave my daughter a stack of caffeine and it distracted her from EVERYTHING so I'm pretty sure tea is a tool of Satan.

For example, there is 2 adults sitting in the the car and having a conversation, the teenager who sits in the back could benefit from the conversation but instead of joining the adults in conversation he or she isolates one self from adults and pretty much becomes its own island by listening to music.

Do you feel threatened by this topic? Is that why you're targeting me and seeking to undermine my intelligence?

To be clear, no one is threatened by this, or any other, topic you have posted. Most people are simply incredulous that anyone would come up with the topics you have presented.

You are being overly modest. Any targeting directed toward you, whether real or imagined, is solely the result of the topics you have initiated and the comments and responses posted by you within those topics.

No one can undermine the intelligence of another. One could try to undermine the reputation for intelligence of another, but in this instance why would anyone bother? You have already taken the necessary steps to create any reputation you have for intelligence or the lack thereof.

This is not what this topic is all about, let's concentrate on the real issue. I don't think you have expressed your opinion. What is your take on music?

You opened the door, I merely walked in. Anything you post on the forum is open to comment.

As for my take on my take on music, in the broadest possible sense and without singling out any particular genre, attend services at a synagogue some Saturday morning. I don't care whether it be Orthodox, Conservative, Reconstructionist, Reform or Renewal. You'll have my answer.

Can you direct me to the place where your postulate a theory? I have only seen the original post where you make an unfounded assertion. It's a long thread by now so I may have missed it. thanks.

The theory is, cigarettes, drugs and alcohol might cure one's depression and anxiety for a short term, but it also increases the levels of depression and axneity for the long term, same with music.
