You are an honest person. You say "I believe that there is one God". You don't directly say, "There is one God." Therefore you are admiting that yours is only a believe. You hold a believe when you are not sure it is a fact. That is, you may be sure of your believe, but you are not sure that your believe is a fact. This position is inevitable because religion is in the realm of the subjective. It is not an objective science that can be reduced to the limits of the five senses. The whole problem arises when a religion seeks to pass off believe as fact.

My friend,

I said " I believe that there is one God " to respect others only.

But, For me it is a big and shining fact.... in every atom on me.

My friend,

Exactly how I feel in regards to my Faith.

Good post.

This is part of the problem when we talk about religion. Facts are not subjective.

To me, a polar bear is purple... (clearly if I claimed that, you would think me silly, incompetent, or a liar). This is because facts are things we can observe.

(Before someone responds: "I can observe god... in my life, in nature...etc.")
What are you REALLY observing? A fact is the observation, without the commentary. Without the reasoning. Without the explanation. I hate to nitpick about definitions, and obviously Mo is not a native english speaker, so I am not picking on him. But we must agree on what words mean if they are to mean anything at all.

if i didn't feel exactly the same about my faith, i would not believe in it. so what does having absolute faith in something prove?

could you possible expand on what you mean here? i'm rather confused by your answer...

I think i know what he means, correct me if i am wrong. To say gods and god is ok. Cause, gods, and god is the same. The gods are all teh same entity, a form of the god. So in the end, its all the same.

As I said, what is a big and shining fact for you is your believe. We seek to pass off a subjective fact as an universal objective fact by objectifying our subjective experience, as is done through idols of all sorts. Even if I cease to exist, my cat, surviving me, would continue to exist and would be recognized as a cat by others. But when I die my God would die with me and what would remain are your Gods so long as you live. But because we have idolized our subjective experience, my idols in the temple would also survive me, as would the word Allah of the Arabic language.

God is unlimited. This means He can have innumerable personal forms and they are all still one and the same God.

or it can be said there are billions of gods and each god has a mind of its own and the power each possesses differ.
