How should the Christian Church treat homosexuals?

Ha, the ick factor of anal sex again. And again, a higher percentage of heteros practice it than homosexuals. Like, over twice as high.

Does this guy know a thing about homosexuality?? It just dawned on me he may not know what it is. We may have to start at a really basic level.

Really, it doesn't have to be this painful.

Homosexuality doesn't hurt populations for a number of reasons:

1) Homosexuals can still reproduce and often do

2) There usually aren't enough homosexuals in a given population in order to be a threat to the survival of a species

It's only the minority that show homosexual behavior, but it IS natural.
In tact, there were some studies done due to scientists observing more homosexual behavior in groups of animals that have a higher population than their environment can support for very long. This in theory lowers population growth which would actually HELP them to survive.

It's important to remember that correlation does not equal causation, and I doubt much came of that study. But it WAS found that homosexuality is natural. Not only that, they have found that males born after older male siblings are more likely to be homosexual.

And a question, you claim to be Christian... yet state that homosexuals would not be welcome at your church........... seriously? That's directly AGAINST the teachings of Jesus. You would think ministering to those you feel are at risk of hell to be the highest on your priority list.
I wonder how people can claim to follow Jesus, yet completely miss the point of his words. It amazes me.

We've had homosexuality for as long as we've had heterosexuality. How's that "extinction" thing working out so far?

yes, i even wrote a legal letter to the parole officer of my father's marriage partner that they should be legally restricted from living together. they are pedophile kidnappers who sodomized a 10-year old little boy. yet you somehow believe that i endorse anal sex. their gay marriage override the parole officer's legal restriction against living together. my father's marriage partner was just released again from jail for kidnapping and sodoming a ten-year old little boy on my father's property to manufacture child internet porn.

i was an assistant pastor several years back, and i don't support anal sex. that's merely your assumption. but i do believe that the local church has a responsibility to reach sinners, so that they don't recommit crimes against future children. you apparently don't share my value. unfortunately, i can't get through to them alone.
