As this conversation doesn't appear to be going anywhere I'll state my opinion (again)

I believe that the church should treat homosexuals just as they treat heterosexuals. I do, however, believe that a church can deny homosexuals membership. Discuss

you want them to live together all of a sudden? i was simply supporting the parole restriction which asserts that they will kidnap again if they live together. i support the judgments of the courts, as opposed to your individual religious judgments.

i believe that if they live together in violation of the parole officer's parole restriction that they will kidnap and sodomize another little boy. that is also the parole officer's legal stance as presented in court. your stance merely provides an obstacle to religious conversion.

so you support the court, which are just people and that made your mind up to report your dad....REALLY....

Jeez, are you sure that it was 42? I remember 2 young men.

Re-reading, 42 where the ones who were killed, maybe they were more making fun of him. (2 Kings 2, 23-25 )

I just try to say that OT is not a good place to get your morals out of. I would agree Jesus testaments to be good place to get moral out of though.

if they are homosexuals and have no intention of changing the church should have nothing to with them...

church membership is stupid and irrelevant....

Why should the church have nothing to do with them? What scripture do you use to support that view?

They do. They teach fleshly desires can't be justified. That which is of the flesh is of the flesh and that which is of the Spirit is of the Spirit.Like I said, if the flesh wants to be justified they should watch Jerry Springer!

An excellent lesson to anyone who would mock the word or its followers...

Does that mean all marriages based on fleshly desires should be stopped? Also what about homosexual relationships based on love and not lust?

ha ha ha didn't I say the closet gay arguement would come up....:)

I just don't see how you can honestly think teaching acceptance instead of hate is a bad thing. I've never been tempted to "turn gay" and I've been around it and accepted it all my life.

What I find funny, is that you talk about the "closet gay" argument coming up, yet you ignore the rest of my post. Why is that? I am one of many raised this way with no temptation or inclination to be gay.

Not only that, I made another claim that the true reason that teaching acceptance is opposed is the protection of the messages of hate and the veil of religion that people like you hide behind.

If they have no intention of repenting from their sin what is the point of the church trying to force them...

What is the point in preaching to heterosexual atheists who have no intention of changing their mind? Should the church ignore them too? If so then feel free to create your own society

I don't hide behind anything I tell it as the word says to many churches and Christians have tried to make it more today, more acceptable and the truth is that is no good for anyone, whats the point of me telling someone what they do is ok if I know it could cost them there eternity, does that make me the good guy because they are happy for a while...

I don't think so...

so you support the court,
against kidnapping, yes. why wouldn't i?

which are just people
people who stand against kidnapping.

and that made your mind up to report your dad
against violating a parole restriction. i didn't report that they were gay. i reported that they shouldn't be living together in violation of a parole restriction which was placed to circumvent child kidnapping.

....REALLY....
are you slow or something?

So I has 29 morals? :O Score :D. I needs more though
i only have 17 so far. you have more than me. they are only earned after many years and not everybody has them. you can't accumulate them without the support of the community. if you go against the community, they will defrubalize you.
