How should the Christian Church treat homosexuals?

yes, i even wrote a legal letter to the parole officer of my father's marriage partner that they should be legally restricted from living together. they are pedophile kidnappers who sodomized a 10-year old little boy. yet you somehow believe that i endorse anal sex. their gay marriage override the parole officer's legal restriction against living together. my father's marriage partner was just released again from jail for kidnapping and sodoming a ten-year old little boy on my father's property to manufacture child internet porn.

i was an assistant pastor several years back, and i don't support anal sex. that's merely your assumption. but i do believe that the local church has a responsibility to reach sinners, so that they don't recommit crimes against future children. you apparently don't share my value. unfortunately, i can't get through to them alone.

very judgemental of you to report them, did you do it because of your beliefs??

I told you they are all over the bible, both direct don't type statements and inferred...

there is quite a few..

There aren't that many teachings of Jesus. If he ever taught about homosexuality, especially the ways that you've been talking about, you should be able to find it quite easily.

The bottom line is Jesus lived by the Word whether he himself mentioned it or not. This minupalating mentality to come into the back door is ridiculous. No two fold meaning intended!

not to bad but give it time and a little more encouragement, basic stuff like special lessons in school, more tv highlighting gay acts.....

I hear this argument all the time. Are you secretly gay or something?

Let me be clear about this. I have been raised around my gay cousin. He is my parents' age, he has never done anything inappropriate to anyone. I've marched in Gay Pride events, I have been a member and supporter of the "Gay Straight Alliance" at my college. I have been taught that homosexuality is perfectly acceptable since before I could read.
Wanna know something that might shock you? I'M NOT GAY! Oh my Gods! It can't be true, I was raised around it so naturally I should be gay right?

The only people that will be gay are already gay. It doesn't matter if they're taught its acceptable or not. Think about it, people are taught its bad right now. People are oppressed, even assaulted or murdered for being gay. They're still gay.
Teaching that its ok will only stop the hatred against gays, and let them live their own lives.
But maybe that's what you, and people like you, are really afraid of. If it is accepted, then the messages of hate will be fully recognized as a the prejudice and outright hatred that it is.

Again with the fear of catching the gay.

Again with the obvious note that you need to learn about homosexuality.

Here's a starting point: research whether kids raised by gay/lesbian couples have higher rates of homosexuality.

Research which demographic spreads AIDS fastest and why.

Look up the brain pattern differences between straights and gays.

Look up the success rates of conversion therapies designed to change homosexuals into heterosexuals.

Look up anything.

Pick something. Don't be a wuss.

very judgemental of you to report them,
you want them to live together all of a sudden? i was simply supporting the parole restriction which asserts that they will kidnap again if they live together. i support the judgments of the courts, as opposed to your individual religious judgments.

did you do it because of your beliefs??
i believe that if they live together in violation of the parole officer's parole restriction that they will kidnap and sodomize another little boy. that is also the parole officer's legal stance as presented in court. your stance merely provides an obstacle to religious conversion.

it goes on in various scriptures to speak against homosexuality, it speaks about soddam, mmm what could that mean...

I will make a wild assumption here:

It means don´t rape strangers.

There is one passage where one saint (Eliseous) curses 42 children becuase they called him baldy. Then two bears killed all the children.

This is not a good book to get morals out of.

Unless you think name calling should end up in 42 bear´s happy meals
