ha ha ha homophobia, the mega spin word designed to make people feel guilty for saying homosexuality is wrong, please don't tell me thats your best shot...:)

Homophobia - intense hatred or fear of homosexuals or homosexuality.

I see a lot of homophobia emanating from your every ounce of being

Ya know, this thread is amusing and all but it isn't worth too much more of my time. I'll likely read to laugh at the stupidity, but unless I see anything intelligent from our Fundamentalist brother here (which I doubt) I won't waste more time arguing after this post.

However a few points I should make.
1: Paul spoke against homosexuality due to him relating it to Pagan Rome.

2: Jesus accepted anyone who wanted to accept him. Yes, he wanted people to do their best not to sin, but as we are all sinners it he preached the word to anyone and never turned anyone away. I see not one passage where he refuses to allow someone in Church to hear the word of God since it is a path to God.
You seem to think one should already be saved to enter Church.... that is kind of backwards.

3:Here is my big question. I'm not Christian and have many problems with LAWS being passed based on Christian faith.
I hear Christians all the time talking about Muslims and how they're trying to use their religious law and push it onto us.... but that's what Christians are doing here. News flash... not everyone is even Christian. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you, friends.

4: I remember hearing Fundies that are racist using the bible as a justifying medium for their racism. The KKK does it all the time, claiming the mark of Cain refers to black people. People selectively read the bible to support their claims.

5: one man..... one woman..... from the beginning......... REALLY!? Are we reading the same book!? How many men had multiple wives in the bible and still were "Men of God" Or are we just conveniently forgetting that part?

Do you people honestly hear yourself? I mean some of the anti homosexual posts I see remind me of some things I hear coming from WBC....
You are right about one thing. Jesus accepts anyone who accepts Him.

Obviously not. You're such an easy target that I really don't know what my best shot is with you.

But "homophobia" is not used to make people feel bad, and it's not spin. It's a simple observation. You hate/fear homosexuals. You might refuse to believe that, but everything that you've said clearly demonstrates that fact. There's actually little room between your homophobia and the people who advocate imprisoning or killing homosexuals - indeed, that's likely where you force your homophobia to stop.

Anyway, I hope that you realize your hatred toward homosexuals and change. Since that's not likely, I'm satisfied with pointing out the hatred. Maybe you'll remember it later.

Heck, your hatred for homosexuals goes so far as to force words on Jesus, treating the word of God with the utmost contempt. You also show contempt for the character of Christ, who accepts all people.

Where do we go from here? Who knows. You may go on hating homosexuals or you may reconsider your view. I hope that you do.

of course it's spin, that all the word is, it masks the fact that people have a right to believe that homosexuality is wrong....:)

Well, I abandoned the word for "you hate homosexuals" for clarity in most of the post. I don't have to say "homophobic" to express what's going on.

That made no sense whatsoever

It makes sense to me. He's dismissing the word as descriptive of his view, despite the fact that it fits perfectly.

I'm guessing that he doesn't know what "homophobic" means.

so thats were you are wrong again I don't hate homosexuals or anyone else for that matter, I would love to see everyone in the world get saved but everyone has their freedom to chose but I would feel upset if I felt I had not taken the opportunity to share Gods word with who over I can..
If acceptance means making changes to your chosen lifestyle again that is the hearers choice...:)

You make the claim, but your statements have demonstrated a clear hatred for homosexuals and homosexuality. It's not a matter of interpretation. It's a fact.

it makes perfect sense your bias just clouds your view, all the "phobe" words be it islama or homo or frenchcarsa, are merely designed to hide the fact that you have a right to your opinion on that subject by making you feel guilty for having said opinion, just spin...simple as...:)

I love how the ones who insist that homosexuality is a choice are the ones who can't possibly know, since they're not gay.

Well they should know that they didn't choose their heterosexuality.

If they say that they chose it, their sexuality is somewhere between heterosexuality and homosexuality. Or they are lying.
