Jesus is God the bible is the word of God the bible speaks against being gay, it is not dishonest....:)

So Jesus is God, the bible as the word of God says:

Job 1:10
Have you not put a hedge around him and his house and all that he has, on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his possessions have increased in the land.

Hopefully you can see how backwards your thinking is on this issue.

I fear the Lord, so I would never lie about what Jesus said in order to hate other people. That is shameless.

I am not judging anyone....:)

being gay is a sin, they are not born that way....:)

What about the other one: If they ever proved to your satisfaction that people are born gay, would you still believe it to be a sin?

I know you don't agree, but I never chose who I was attracted to. 99% of the people I have been attracted to were men, as I am straight. But I have to admit on one occasion that I was fleetingly attracted to a woman- I didn't want to have sex or anything, but I was definitely attracted to her. Since I am virtually only attracted to males, then why would that be? I certainly didn't choose to be attracted to her, it was nothing conscience, anyway. Do you have anything to contribute to that confession?

they are not born that way, it is a simple case of choice...:)

I know you have no knowledge of the word of God by your ridiculous position that the bible does not speak against homosexuality, when it so clearly does, then you went on to say the NT does not condemn homosexuality and it clearly does, they you moved on to the fact Jesus does not condemn homosexuality and as Jesus is God it clearly does, then you pitch it doesn't mention lesbians only to be shown it does..

the fact that you missed a great big clue in adam and eve shows you haven't even looked properly...:)

1) So because I show, what you define as a lack of knowedge, in one area I then have NO knowledge? good argument.
2) Old Testament laws are invalid unless you still follow them. I don't think you do though.
3) The NT quotes are all Paul and only refer to specific acts. Not to mention that they're all based on homosexuality being a choice. A topic that is now widely disputed.
4) Jesus being God is also disputed fiercely. There's a massive thread about it on RF
5) Adam and Eve is a creation story. Some Christians don't even believe it to be historical at all. Also it says nothing about homosexuality at all

Really, in Christianity this kind of thing is the worst kind of blasphemy.

Putting words in the mouth of Christ in order to suit our own sins. It's one thing, I think, to honestly misinterpret what is actually written and quite another to just make something up that isn't there.

And in this case, using it to justify hate, it's the bold face of evil.

are you for real, it does not matter if any of it is disputed by others, if you had really read and understood the bible you would have an informed opinion, you clearly show you have checked the bible on a single issue homosexuality, you was not a fundie....:)

It's disputed by Christians . Also I WAS (past tense) a fundie. Get that into you skull and you'll understand why i now argue against it. If the Christians can't agree on what the bible says on the issue then who are you to say you're right and they're wrong? Literal interpretation vs non-literal interpretation. Which is right? who knows
