derrr if you were ever a fundie you would know what it said even if it was up for debate but you clearly don't....:)

Are you really this blind? I used to believe what you believe but have since changed my mind. Does the bold text help you understand why I don't have to agree with fundie interpretations in the present?

I'm not sure why that makes it impossible to understand by someone who doesn't think it's wrong. But an individual case is rather unimportant. The Bible says that homosexuality is wrong, and it also says that any association of Christians with homosexuals who claim to be Christians is wrong.

I disagree. It is not a sin to be tempted with same sex attractions. It is just a sin to act on it.

the main discussion was around a gay couple who had no intentions of ever not being gay, thats why the salvation and even church attendance was being spoken against...:)

You withhold salvation from homosexuals?

I wish you would, but I understand your homophobia.

you demonstrate no knowledge you were never a fundie..:)

Your useless argument is getting quite tiresome and repetitive. How many times do I have to spell it out for you. MY VIEW HAS CHANGED. If you can't see that then you need to get your eyes checked. I even used capitalization AND bold text.

Ya know, this thread is amusing and all but it isn't worth too much more of my time. I'll likely read to laugh at the stupidity, but unless I see anything intelligent from our Fundamentalist brother here (which I doubt) I won't waste more time arguing after this post.

However a few points I should make.
1: Paul spoke against homosexuality due to him relating it to Pagan Rome.

2: Jesus accepted anyone who wanted to accept him. Yes, he wanted people to do their best not to sin, but as we are all sinners it he preached the word to anyone and never turned anyone away. I see not one passage where he refuses to allow someone in Church to hear the word of God since it is a path to God.
You seem to think one should already be saved to enter Church.... that is kind of backwards.

3:Here is my big question. I'm not Christian and have many problems with LAWS being passed based on Christian faith.
I hear Christians all the time talking about Muslims and how they're trying to use their religious law and push it onto us.... but that's what Christians are doing here. News flash... not everyone is even Christian. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you, friends.

4: I remember hearing Fundies that are racist using the bible as a justifying medium for their racism. The KKK does it all the time, claiming the mark of Cain refers to black people. People selectively read the bible to support their claims.

5: one man..... one woman..... from the beginning......... REALLY!? Are we reading the same book!? How many men had multiple wives in the bible and still were "Men of God" Or are we just conveniently forgetting that part?

Do you people honestly hear yourself? I mean some of the anti homosexual posts I see remind me of some things I hear coming from WBC....

You really are testing nerve now aren't you? The discussion is on how to treat homosexuals. Anything else is merely your assumption
