why do people think homosexuality which is a sin should be treat differently by God from other sins...

because it isn't a choice to be attracted to the same sex...

it is innate, just as it is innate for you to be attracted to the opposite sex...

so just because you are attracted to women, why can't you understand that there are those who are attracted to the same sex.

i know exactly why you refuse to see it...
it is because you cannot understand why god would create someone with that kind of sexual preference and it would require you to think for yourself...

it's not hard. just do it.

anyway any sinner and this includes homosexuality, that have no intentions of repenting, turning away from their sin have no place in a church and are only fooling themselves that they are saved...

By the biblical definition of sin this applies to everyone. Including yourself

I have known a few homosexual people (male and female) over the years, some very close friends who I've known from a very young age. In each of their lives there were childhood factors, including parental neglect and sexual molestation, which I believe greatly contributed to their sexual orientation. I don’t necessarily think a person reaches a certain point and then chooses to be homosexual, but I do believe that every person is born with the tendency toward sin and various factors in one’s life slant one toward one sin area or another. I believe God our Creator wants people whole and free from sin, whatever sin may dominant one’s life. I believe at some point a person becomes responsible to make a choice and God gives everyone opportunity to make the choice to be free from the bondage of sin or continue in it.

Prominent U.S. Gay Activist Now Publicly Speaking Out Against Homosexuality

“Michael Glatze, once a rising star in the homosexual movement, having become the editor of the popular Young Gay America magazine in his early 20s, has since left the homosexual lifestyle and is now publicly speaking out against homosexuality, and encouraging other homosexuals to leave the way of life that he says "is by its very nature pornographic."

In a powerful testimonial printed yesterday on WorldNetDaily, Glatze publicly reveals his conversion, and chronicles his tumultuous and unhappy journey through homosexuality, to where he is today, a recovered homosexual and a Christian, eager to lead others out of the lifestyle that claimed him for so many years.”

“Glatze is the second prominent homosexual rights activist involved with a pro-homosexual magazine to have publicly left the lifestyle in the last year. Charlene Cothran, the founder and publisher of VENUS magazine, formerly a pro-homosexual publication, has since become a Christian, left the homosexual lifestyle, and has radically altered the nature of her magazine, changing it into a forum by which to "encourage, educate and assist those who desire to leave a life of homosexuality."

"Although I have lived as a lesbian for my entire adult life, it is without a doubt my soul’s purpose to use my gifts to LOVINGLY share the truth about how we got here," Cothran wrote in the first issue of the magazine dedicated to its new purpose. "How we came to be gay or lesbian, how we came to enjoy our ‘lifestyle’ and how we came to believe that this was OK with God."

The day I decided to stop being gay

Twenty years after he came out, Patrick Muirhead, 41, explains why he is suddenly feeling the appeal of the opposite sex

A minor incident in a barber’s shop last week has helped me to realise that I may no longer be gay. Not a fully fledged homo, anyway; perhaps not even a part-timer who helps the team out when it’s busy. It appears I may be going straight.

In response to another thread where we are asked not to debate whether homosexuality is a sin, I wanted to create this one. In this one I want you to really think about it, question the very cores of your assumptions.

How should the Christian Church treat homosexuals?

http://www.religiousforums.com/foru...reat-homosexuals-post2626859.html#post2626859Like they do anyone else who enters their doors. Everyone is a sinner, homosexuals aren't special sinners. "Hate the sin, Love the sinner" The church should treat everyone with respect and love, while simultaneously calling everyone to repentance.
