What scientific reply would you be even willing to accept. The genetic similarity between chimpanzees and man which is 96%? The documented problems solving of animals filling animal behavior text books? The complex communications skills well documented in birds? The comparative anatomic studies between mammal brains of different species? The comparative physiology between vertebrates? The comparative embryology between vertebrates? There is so much scientific evidence that it is hard to know where to start or what you would even believe since you do not want to believe the obvious examples you have already been given by so many people. Which scientific journals will you accept? Which ones would you reject? You might start to think you have no intention of listening to anyone but your self especially when you start using words like "silly" Using words like this to try and degrade other peoples comments is a sign you will not accept anyone's comments but your own.

My apologies. My wording was poor in reference to the chickens. It is just that when people see contained animals and view them only as a source of food for themselves they do not respect the animal and feel they can treat it inhumanly.

I don't think people are naturally wired to extend moral consideration to those outside their own tribe. Expanded compassion is usually a learned thing.

same life cycle on earth, we have in common not only with apes but
with all living organisms including pigs and mice.

My cousin has a sheep farm, he used to visit his farm in daily basis, he noticed that during
his visit one sheep comes to him once he enters the farm and keep following him wherever
he goes till he leaves the farm at the gate, this was happening every time he goes to his farm,
my cousin swore that he won't slaughter this sheep and will let him live to the end, and the
sheep was still doing the same day after day running towards him once he enters the
gate, when the sheep died my cousin cried.

Humans love animals, a child won't let you kill a chicken in order to eat it.
this's life and many here had said, wow bacon tastes delicious.
