The quality of life is declining for many in our current world. Despite our advancements there are serious negative changes going on today. Would it be better to live like the bushman 100 years ago? Not such an obvious answer as you might think giving we are creating mass extinction and the possible extinction of man the way we are living now. If there is no change in our behavior and we do not stop what we are doing then the answer will be yes, we would all be better off.

I think humans are animals, but more developed than other species. I think it is quite possible that somewhere in our vast universe there are other beings more developed than us, who would regard humans as a lesser species.

How you compare the life of humans and the chickens to be both precious,
