That's so true. I mean, if one form of animal or plant evolved over time into completely different forms then we'd see the intermediates, and there simply aren't any!

Like, if fish evolved into reptiles then we'd expect to see some kind of weird creature that can live in both water and on land, there are none!
And if reptiles evolved into mammals then there would be mammals that still lay eggs. But are there any such creatures? Not even in Australia!
And if humans evolved from monkeys we would see all sorts of large, tail-less primates with DNA very similar to our own. And yet none of you Charlesdarwinists can name a single kind!

Just face up to the truth will you, we're descended from a person made of animated clay, the facts are all around us. I mean, just dig in the ground and what do you find all your precious fossils buried in? Clay. As if any more proof were needed.

In the "past"? You seem to have a very limited view of history. You only refer back to a couple of thousands of years, thats nothing. We speak of hundreds of thousands if you want specific Human or Human like species.

I don't accept any "facts" from people that propogate that humans and chimps are cousins. That is not a fact. If you think that is a fact then how can I believe your other "facts". Did you know that the whole human genome is available but the whole chimp is not? You are basing your "facts" on incomplete data. Did you know that the DNA that is similar between humans and chimps is in the area of proteins and not in structure? The same proteins that do certain functions in chimps can do the same functions in humans. That could be from design. You are believing in and propogating misinformation.

Jose, I guess I am living in a kind of dreamworld where I assume that people, if given good simple explanation of what they do not understand, will accept the fact rather then run away from it. I noticed that with people like Man of Fate, it is sheer ignorance and the lack of willingness to learn, it seems that he is afraid of learning as it questiosn his belief, It is a strange stance I can not relate too.

Unfortunately, MoF is a pretty typical internet creationist. Their only value is the entertainment they provide.

I guess I "hope" that atleast one or two of other Creationist reading this will learn and possible want to get a deeper understanding of Evolution and with this, make a better more safe world to live in and respect life instead of the hatred spread by Christians and Muslims today.

Maybe naive, but I try.

I've seen the "lurker justification" cited numerous times, and I suppose I would give it more credence if, just once, I had heard a positive account from such a person in the 10+ years I've participated in these discussions.

Maybe you're naive, and maybe I've become very jaded, I don't know...

But anyone with sufficient, or rather, proper, education in the field would tell you that humans and chimps are cousins, so you are saying that the people who are the best and most qualified to respond to the question, are not valid according to you.

This begs the question, if people not related to the field are valid as reference, whom is? A car mechanic or a Police officer? Who do you consider suitable to respond and explain it to you if not the people that know about it?

Added: As Jose pointed out, it is clear you will not accept any facts so I wont bother you any more. I do not understand why you are here, in a Forum, when you wont accept anything that goes against your own limited and incorrect, worldview. You may send me a mail if you decide to accept fact and the real world and truly want to learn and debate this issue, but I will not waste your time as it is now.

Everything that I see marries up to that. Everything that I see is contrary to the ToE. I believe it is you that needs to learn, not me. You need to get away from those evolution promoting websites and start spending time on the creation ones and get better information.

gnomon, I find the chart Dawkins use very usable. It removes the problem when talking to Creationist about coming "from" a certain species, it is similar to the one I included and I assumed it was acceptable, MoF on the other hand apparently did not look at it nor ask any questions but simple decided it "is not true".

I do not really hang around "Evolution websites" and such, I just joined here in the hope to learn more myself about the various field of our evolution and understanding of the world, I write my own material and then have peopel qustioning it as I want to know what I need to know and what I do not understand.

That you say the Bible is right and fact is wrong ends any argument and it is impossible to talk to you, you do not want to learn facts. Why not the Lord of the Rings sagas, there is no difference from them to the Bble, both written by man for various reasons.

The key thing you need to understand is, that you are wrong. I do not say that because I disagree, or dislike you or any other personal subjective reason, but simple because what you say is in contrast to reality and the facts we know about the world. Have you ever taken vaccine, do you know someone who has? This is not possible as evolution is "not true" according to you, how do you explain this? How do you explain human history, how do you explain the people living 15 thousand years ago, how do you explain our knowledge of the Big Bang (a very interesting topic) which we have Evidence for, but obviously you would not accept it.

You are responsible for answering this, you are the one denying it, You need to explain to us why and then we have an exchange, you decided not to, and simple ignore us. Why are you in a forum debating something when you refuse to debate? It is indeed weird, but I will be around for a time, feel free to contact me if you are "brave enough" to question your faith, I know it is hard to do, no mocking from my side.

You are equivocating on the definition of evolution. It is hard to have a discussion about evoltion when on one hand you say evolution means chimps and humans are cousins and then on the other hand you say evolution means shots and vaccines. We need to stick to one subject or we will be going around in circles.

Ummm... well, humans are considered part of the ape family, so, we are ape humans technically. And cats and dogs are different species. If a dog or a cat produced a dogcat than the theory of evolution as we know it, would be false. So, your knowledge of evolution is paper thin. And thats not meant to be an insult, it's just an observation.
