Translation of the Meanings of the Hadith (Narration):

Imam al-Sadiq [a.s.]:" Working without understanding and insight is like traveling in the wrong road (direction); the faster one moves on it the farther away from the destination it takes him."

Original (Arabic) Text:

قال الإمام الصادق عليه السلام:
" العامل على غير بصيرة كالسائر على غير الطريق لا يزيده سرعة السير إلا بعدا ."

Translation of the Meanings of the Hadith (Narration):

Imam al-Sadiq : “There is not from an issue in which two people may differ but that and for it is a principle in the book of Allah (swt) but the intellects of the men can not understand/reach it.”

Original (Arabic) Text:
قال الإمام الصادق عليه السلام:
" ما من أمر يختلف فيه اثنان إلا وله أصل في كتاب الله عزوجل ولكن لا تبلغه عقول الرجال".

Translation of the Meanings of the Hadith (Narration):

Imam al-Sadiq [a.s.] said that: ‘The Messenger of Allah SAAW said: ‘Surely on every truth there is reality, and on every correct thing there is a light. Whatever is in agreement with the Book of Allah (azwj) take (hold of) it, and that which is against the Book of Allah (azwj) leave it’.

Original (Arabic) Text:

عن أبي عبد الله عليه السلام قال : قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله : "إن على كل حق حقيقة ، وعلى كل صواب ‏نورا ، فما وافق كتاب الله فخذوه وما خالف كتاب الله فدعوه."

Translation of the Meanings of the Hadith (Narration):


Imam Sadiq (a.s.) said: that Ameerul-Mo’mineen (Imam Ali; a.s.) was used to say: “A servant does not find the taste of faith until he knows that: what has befallen him was not going to miss him, and that what has missed him was not going to befall him; and that the Harmer, the Benefactor, is Allah; Exalted and Majestic is He”

Original (Arabic) Text:


عن أبي عبد الله (عليه السلام) قال: كان أمير المؤمنين (عليه السلام) يقول: "لا يجد عبد طعم الايمان حتى يعلم ان ما أصابه لم يكن ليخطئه ، وان ما اخطأه لم يكن ليصيبه ، وان الضار النافع هو اللـه عز وجل."

Imam al-Sadiq(a.s): “By Allah, […] and whoever recognizes our rights and loves us [AhlulBayt a.s.], He indeed does love Allah;the Blessed and Most High”

Original (Arabic) Text:
قال الإمام الصادق عليه السّلام: "والله (...) ومن عرف حقنا ‏وأحبنا فقد أحب الله تبارك وتعالى ".
