You don’t know what kind of God you would like, or if such a one exists, except we know it cannot be the Judeo-Christian one (if we are to believe the Bible) because the claims make it so cruel or evil.

I learned nothing consequential from that linked thread, quite frankly. Not to mention it took longer than six months for you to even suggest what kinds of books you read, much less specific names.

So you shoot from the hip and take it as it comes? Fine with me, but you appear to be relying too much on your own wits for a philosophy and not really citing any profound revelations or reasoning.

Outside of the fact you don’t like our God because hell may be out there, you have said very little.

Depending on how threatening it is, I'd probably avoid it. If I don't see it too dangerous, I would try to raise it in a way that would make it decent.

Yes, sorry if I missed something in the OP, but I did read it all.

I meant that if the wrong choices at the end of its life are threatening, and if I didn't know or if they weren't, I'd hope to raise them to prevent those wrong choices.

The OP oresents an hypothetical where you know for a fact that your next child will undoubtedly make choices that would send him to hell. N matter what you do, s/he will make that choice.

Your choice is whether to have a next baby or not.

The thing is that the soul of your next son/daughter would choose hell if such soul was created, but if you choose not to have a son/daughter then the soul is not created and wont go to hell.
