According to what you have provided me, he made a mistake (and so did I then) but that still does not mean he said they are more valuable TODAY because of sex.
If I say men´s value lied in their physical power, I am not insult Steven Hawkins.
Steven Hawkings would have died there as if he was nothing. It is obviously not the reality in today´s society, when we can truly see much of his worth thanks to the advances of science and of society, that is no longer "merely surviving".

Depends on the "No" actually.
I´ve seen firsthand people in my class that do an advance, the woman says "Noooo!" in a flirty way (probably not even consciously in a flirty way) . The man acts dumb and goes "Oh I am sorry" and actively ignores her for the rest of the class.
Guess where the pestering shifted?

I know that is not the general rule though. But I did have to point that out. It´s funny because when girls pester guys, there is seldom the same kind of outrage.
I do feel this is one of those things that are very unequally balanced.

Interesting how you just focused on that bit instead of also taking issue with that bit where the man's part of the exchange is to fight, and from that assume that I meant that all men are good for is fighting.
At the time I wrote that post I had not slept for 2 days and I wanted to finish it up quickly so I only wrote an incomplete list of what services would have been included in that exchange which would also have included bringing in vital protein from the hunt on the part of men, and taking care of kids, and foraging for plants and grains, and other stuff beside on the part of the women. I only included the most obvious ones cause like I said, I was tired, and I trusted that whoever read it would be knowledgable and mature enough to assume this, but I suppose I should not have.
And to be fair we tried going to each other for sex first but we found we were terrible at it compaired to women!
