You have a point... though it is part of the theology.
But we must ask who he is... and that seems the best answer
Yes is does. John 20 Hebrews 1
He had to make himself least.. so he could not
See above
no. This is scripture you speak of and is understood esoterically
Yes there is even if the word is not used.
He also said what is bound on earth will be bound in heaven
So then, are you saying that John is relatively more recent than Matthew, Mark, and Luke?
haha.... no.... hahaPaul is God of the Gentiles?
They are both ''ho theos'' and to not translate them that way would be dishonest.John 20:28 should NOT be translated "God." Before and after this verse they are saying Son of God.
Joh 20:28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.
Should be more like -
John 20:28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my Master/Judge.
Joh 20:24 But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came.
Joh 20:25 The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe.
Joh 20:26 And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peacebeunto you.
Joh 20:27 Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrustitinto my side: and be not faithless, but believing.
Joh 20:28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my Master/Judge.
Joh 20:29 Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have NOT seen, and YET have believed.
That is a JUDGMENT against him by his Judge/Master. He recognizes this with his wording.

Hebrews 1 should not be translated as Jesus is God either.
Heb 1:8 But to the Son, the Throne/power of thou, O God, for ever and ever: the Sceptre of Rightness is the Sceptre of thy reign.
We are told repeatedly that he is the son by inheritance.
Heb 1:2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;
Heb 1:4 Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.

Where did he claim to be the guide for the whole of mankind?
Abraham becomes the source of blessing, for in him "all families of the earth shall call themselves blessed." (Gen 12:3) The mission of the Chosen People is to make a gift of their God to every other people. Israel's mission, to witness to the nations.
Paul went to the Gentiles. We are told that he is the God of the Gentiles also
Paul( or maybe Marcion writing in the name of Paul) claimed this. Did Jesus?
Yet the Catholic church in Rome claimed their right to apostolic succession through his work thereby dividing the church into eastern and western branches..

I am a gentile and a reborn Christian. My God is the Creator of this world and I believe Jesus is the son o God who came to earth through virgin Mary , to reconcile us sinners with God , thus showing God's love towards us sinners.Paul went to the Gentiles. We are told that he is the God of the Gentiles also

thus showing God's love towards us sinners.
He was born about 2000 years ago, in a strange way.
